the house had everything we needed, and Terisa always answered . the house is a bit far from Amsterdam by public transport so take it to consideration. we had a good time in the house with a very kind welcoming when we came. great value for money!

We were a group of girls at Leon's house. It was really super nice, everything you need and much more! And I liked it a lot. The house was clean and it is really fast to go to Amsterdam by public transport or car. We will be back!

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

We had a very relaxing 5 nights. Kees and Karen were impeccable hosts, laidback and always helpful. We didn't come by car, but it's easy to get into Utrecht either by bus or tram. Would definitely book again.

Annete is a great host and her accommodation is highly recommended. Everything you need (grocery stores, bars, restaurants, train station to Amsterdam) is in the immediate vicinity. The cottage is very quiet, with a small front garden. We had a very nice week there. The surroundings are picturesque, the sea and the beach are super clean. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, we lacked nothing in the house. The water is very good and soft. There is a vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, washing machine, dryer, kettle, coffee machine. You have to keep in mind that the rooms have no doors and the stairs up are very steep, so that a toilet visit at night is hardly possible. But it didn't bother us. We will be happy to come back!!!

Karin's accommodation is wonderful. It is strategically great, as the surrounding towns/cities are not far away. You can easily reach them on foot or by bike. The accommodation is as described and is quiet and somewhat remote. We felt very comfortable. Karin was a very pleasant host. Thank you again for everything.

Hugo's place was incredible. Absolutely stunning place and amazing scenery. Very friendly, gave us free waters and beers. Provided good places to eat and was very friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a small get away, or just any vacation.

Great accommodation and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything was fine for us ☀️

Very sweet cottage, in an absolutely quiet location. The garden is well established, so you have privacy and can go there with anxious dogs. Everything was super clean and beautifully decorated. A perfect place for nature lovers, you can even see small parrots and a black swan we have also seen! The check-in was hassle-free and the contact was also very friendly! We will be happy to come back!

Magda and Peter’s place was just as beautiful as promised. It was clean and comfortable, secure and private. Our hosts were helpful and responsive to our needs and requests. The fridge and cupboard was generously stocked on our arrival with enough food so we didn’t need to shop for a day or two. The suite fulfilled all of my husband and my needs for the month we were there. Highly recommend!

Our stay can be described in one word: EXCELLENT!!! Maaike is a great host! She is easy to approach, is very hospitable. Her service is more than great! We know one thing for sure, we would love to come back here again!

This is a perfect spot to stay in Amsterdam! It is larger than it looks in the photos, with many nice artistic decorations and advantages (you can watch a drawbridge go up and down from the deck). All the comforts of home plus a very friendly, gracious host. Convenient to the bus, tram, and a nice supermarket-- very easy to get to the attractions in the city, but you also can walk to a pretty small village and bike in the countryside. Note that this is not a good place to stay if you have mobility issues (you have to climb over other boats with your suitcase to get here) or if you really hate spiders (there are a bunch outside, a few inside. My arachnophobic husband was fine, but you will see spiderwebs.) I strongly recommend this place! I always wanted to stay on a boat and it turns out this is a common fantasy... All of your friends will be jealous.

Amazing loft room with space to properly ‘live out of’ if you’re a long-staying visitor to Amsterdam. Felt right at home in the comfy and clean living space. Having a workspace on the top floor made working from here a breeze. I’d definitely come stay again.

An absolutely perfect location from which to enjoy the city! It's a short tram ride to pretty much anywhere you want to go in town, and a short walk to lots of restaurants, shops, and lovely canal views. In the summer, being on the top floor may make the inside a bit too warm, but the windows open wide and the rooftop outdoor patio is large, surprisingly quiet, and perfect for relaxation, eating, and conversation if the weather is nice. In other words, the true Amsterdam canal-house stair climb is well worth the effort. Overall a very comfortable studio flat, good wifi connection, and a responsive and respectful host. This boathouse was fantastic! It's very close to many restaurants and has a nearby parking garage. We were very comfortable with 4 adults and a small dog. Plenty of room and lots of fans to keep cool! Casper is also very friendly and super responsive to any questions we had! We would stay here again!!

We had a great time. The house and the facilities are great, everything you need for a relaxing stay is there. Everything was clean and tidy. Unfortunately the house was very cold when we arrived, the underfloor heating takes a while to warm up. If you arrive in the evening or in the dark, the access to the first jetty is a bit difficult to find, maybe a sign would help. But we can only recommend the house and will certainly come back again.

The house is located in a central yet calm and beautiful neighborhood. The location was fantastic and within walking distance of almost all the famous spots. Jan and Louise were very kind and professional—they responded quickly to our messages and were very flexible. Thank you for being such lovely hosts.
