Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Oudkarspel

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

We spent very nice days in this beautiful house. The terrace directly on a small canal with a view over the meadows offered pure relaxation. The area is ideal for cycling along the canals and blooming tulip fields. Trudi was a very nice and attentive host. Thank you! Maria and Heiko

What a fantastic lcation to relax en enjoy a peacefull vacation. Lovely place to spend 2 days with our dogs. Also a great host, easy going and helpfull. If you are passing by it is worth the stay.

Great accommodation and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything was fine for us ☀️

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

We had a nice stay and Anneke or her daughter were always available for questions during the stay. The house is very nicely decorated, everything was clean, good amenities and the pool and jacuzzi were great. I am more than happy to recommend the place.

Great Host and great Stay. Easy Kommunikation. We did go sailing with a skipper the host kindly arranged for us, wich was a great experience.

We spent 10 wonderful days of our honeymoon in this beautiful house and it was just perfect! The house was spotlessly clean, cozily furnished and we lacked nothing. We particularly liked the fenced garden, which was ideal for our dog - he could move freely while we sat outside relaxing. A real highlight was the hot pod. Thanks to Martha and Paul's detailed and friendly description, it was super easy to use and everything worked perfectly. Especially in the evening, it was a fantastic addition to our vacation. Martha and Paul were always available, incredibly warm and helpful, you immediately feel welcome and well taken care of. We will definitely be happy to come back. It was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy our honeymoon.

Our stay can be described in one word: EXCELLENT!!! Maaike is a great host! She is easy to approach, is very hospitable. Her service is more than great! We know one thing for sure, we would love to come back here again!

Jody and Huib welcomed us and our young sheepdog very warmly. The accommodation is simply fantastic and beautiful. Even more beautiful than the pictures show. The garden is completely fenced, which made our stay with a dog very relaxing. The location of the place is also great. 20-25 minutes to all beaches on the west coast. Approximately 50 minutes to Amsterdam. There are shopping facilities for daily needs in a supermarket about 5 minutes away by car. We definitely had a very nice vacation and can only recommend this accommodation.

Lovely to be in the centre of Alkmaar

We only spent one night at the property- would have liked to have stayed longer. Everything was perfect for us - starting with the nice welcome ( with cookies), the accommodation and the whole area...we enjoyed the 2 days and can fully recommend to anyone who likes to have PEACE and SEA. Very nice, good-smelling, clean and beautifully located accommodation! Kim was very friendly and accommodating! The small terrace is an asset and in the evening you can still enjoy the western sun.

I thank Lindsey very much, we had a nice stay throughout and an uncomplicated check-in and out. The communication could not have gone better, you always got a quick response from Lindsey and at check-in she also received us personally. We arrived significantly late because the road was quite crowded, but that was also not a problem for them. The cottage has a great starting point for excursions, whether to the beach in Bergen, Egmond or Pretten, as well as to be in Amsterdam in less than an hour. On the second day, we felt slowed down and relaxed by the quiet environment :) Our dog was also totally relaxed in the garden to sunbathe and our child was happy with the toys on site. The accommodation offers everything for daily needs and was completely sufficient for us - we felt right at home and would have liked to stay longer. You arrive and the beds are already made and the towels are arranged. All included. We will be happy to come back!

Great place, great communication. Alie was courteous and helpful, made our stay really nice. Exceeded our expectations! The accommodation is quietly located, you can reach the beach by bike or car, not necessarily within walking distance. But for our purposes, this was just the right thing.
