Salkeld Cottage is in the village of Gilcrux, near Cockermouth and situated between the Solway coast & Lake District park, ideal for walkers & pet owners. There is a local pub withing walking distance. The cottage is part of a barn conversion along with 5 other cottages which accommodate 1 couple each. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.
