Garden Escape: Guesthouse next to Woodlands

The treehouse is currently out of bounds for safety reasons. We are very sorry for any disappointment. Strongly advised to arrive by car or taxi, especially at weekends. 1 King bed, 1 double sofa bed all in an open plan living space with a small kitchen area. Separate shower room. We have 14 acres of wood and the outhouse sits next to it. There are footpaths in the country from our doorstep. Oxford is 3.5 miles away. There is a risk of ticks due to the wildlife. Located in a beautiful village within the Cotswold water park area you are spoilt for choice of things to do locally, with water sports, lakeside dining, South Cerney beach all on your door step.

The Old Groom's House is a detached, two-bedroom cottage in the grounds of our historic home, The Old Rectory. A contactless stay is available. Its charming setting is instantly relaxing, with a private terrace overlooking mature gardens, dairy pasture and the tranquil River Avon. Renovated recently, so everything is fresh, bright and immaculate, it sleeps 4 people comfortably, and there’s a double sofa bed if you have extra guests. There’s plenty of secure parking behind electric gates.

Also the local pub provide a collection service from their Covid menu (5 min walk).

Walk in the surrounding countryside stopping at a country pub for lunch or visit nearby historic Oxford for some shopping and culture. Alternatively, for the ultimate in retail therapy, pop 10 minutes up the road to the world famous shopping outlet, Bicester Village.

The guest house is a newly converted, beautiful stone cottage, with an open plan living space, fully stocked kitchen and king bed or twin beds with ensuite bathroom. There are wonderful walks and cycling right on our doorstep.
