The cabin is located in a cozy seating area with great hiking trails right nearby and with a short distance to Hafjell (2 km to drive to Gaiastova which is the closest starting point for alpine skiing). In winter, you have to walk about 250 meters on skis or snowshoes from a free parking lot.

In Fåvang you can see the ice cathedral, frozen waterfall. The road museum in islands has free entrance, where you can see many historical vehicles, etc. But most of all we have many nice nature experiences here in Gudbrandsdalen . From the apartment there are great views over great Hafjell. There is also short distance to Gaiastova, convenience store, Vidsyn and several eateries. In winter, the area is ideal for skiing activities and in summer for activities such as fishing, hiking in great nature and bike (Hafjell bikepark). There is a playground nearby for the kids.

Driving distance from Oslo is 210 kilometers / 2h 25m / from the airport about 2 hours In winter, you can go straight out on ski slopes that are connected to an extensive trail network.
