We absolutely love Michael and Cat’s place. This is our third time staying and love everything about the place. Great location close to town and hiking, charming and beautifully curated spaces (inside and out), and just an overall great place to chill/hang out. Super friendly hosts who are very responsive. We will definitely be back!

Scott’s place was perfect for our group of 7 for the weekend! The place was clean, well put together and had plenty of amenities. There happened to be a scheduled power outage one of the days we were there, but Scott was straightforward about it before the weekend and had great communication throughout it all. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Can’t say enough great things about this place. The house is so charming and in a great location close to town. Very clean, Comfy beds, soft towels, everything we needed in the kitchen. 10/10 style and accommodations. We traveled with 2 preschoolers and it was absolutely perfect for our little family. We loved the hammocks and playing in the creek behind the property. Will absolutely be back

Very comfortable and cozy stay. It was super clean and had so much attention to detail. We loved the guide for the area in the hallway and that everything was labeled in the kitchen 🤌

This was hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. In fact, staying here in this beautiful home and amazing location, it has influenced my boyfriend and I to start our journey with owning an Airbnb! I can’t say enough good things about this place! This is our 3rd or 4th time here- we just love this Airbnb, truly our favorite! Our doodles have such a big enclosed yard to play- with trees and lots of wildlife all around us. And the prefect view of the Tahquitz rock too! I don’t even look for other Airbnbs anymore in Idyllwild- I just message Ariya and book☺️. The home is always clean with everything we need for cooking and relaxing. I always appreciate the assorted teas from their store as well. This time, we made sure we took advantage of the hot tub after a hike and a run. The bathrobes are always appreciated and even helpful when it got a little chilly at night. Ernie Maxwell trail is just over a mile from the house and my big dog and I hiked/ran there twice- such a beautiful place to take your dog(s). Ariya and Marc are such perfect hosts- always communicating and ensuring we are enjoying our stay. I also appreciated it when Ariya messaged me that I could check in early. Thanks again Ariya! We will be back for Thanksgiving wee

We had a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Well appointed cabin. Very nice to have a television in each room and also a wireless sound system. Looking up at the stars from the hot tub was also a major plus!

We had such a great stay! We loved that it was dog friendly and the fenced yard was fantastic. The kitchen was well stocked with cutting boards, pots/pans, cutlery, spices - pretty much anything you’d need. The couches and bed were also really comfortable and we loved having the fireplace. Location was great, really close to town and the Ernie Maxwell Scenic Trail was a great trail right by the house. Would definitely stay again!

I have rented AirB&B's in numerous places and countries, and this was easily one of the best kept, most comfortable and pleasurable. Moses was a great host, responding within minutes when I had trouble connecting my cell phone. Every amenity was as advertised, clean and well-organized. The center of town is only minutes away by car, though we found the property so pleasant - a huge backyard, hammocks, etc. - that we rarely left. I recommend this place to anyone coming to Idylwild

Nice little cabin in Idyllwild. Probably one of, if not the, closest Airbnb for walking into the little downtown, which was great. Fenced yard AND deck are great if you have a dog. Place is small so would probably recommend for only two people, but can definitely accommodate four if needed. We had a great stay. :)

Great place to stay! It’s close by hiking trails and close to town. Would recommend this location to anyone visiting Idyllwild.

The house had so many nice touches from comfortable beds to simple and unique decor that made the home inviting and enjoyable. The house was very clean and our beds were so comfortable. My family and I slept great and we loved that we were walking distance to the town! For the price it was a win win overall. Our favorite air bnb so far ❤️

We had an awesome weekend. The cabin was very clean and it was very peaceful. It was wonderful to find a place that had a fenced in yard for the pups to run around. We cooked most meals there and the kitchen was well equipped. Thank you for sharing!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! If you want a cabin in the woods this is the spot. Neat, clean, and easy to access. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for some quiet wilderness. Just a few minutes from town too so easy to walk or drive down for shops and restaurants.

This is a great cabin at a great location, with a great price. Easy to find, very remote and private, yet close to the village with all the nice restaurants and shops. Cabin is clean and very relaxing. We almost didn't want to go out to the village as this was our second trip to Idlewild, but it's nice to get out and walk around, instead of ordering everything. We had a fun time at the cabin and felt safe. Larry is very attentive and proactive in making sure we had access to everything. We will be going back 👍

Lovely spacious "cabin in the woods" with an excellent second story deck that provided a delightful, dappled sunlight for outdoor reading in the afternoon. Large fenced in yard was excellent for our two Australian Shepherds who enjoyed the room to run after our hikes in the mountains. Fine local shops and restaurants were within easy walking distance. Looking forward to returning in the future.

We’ve been doing weekend getaways to Idyllwild for a few years, and this cabin is now our favorite! It was a last-minute trip, but such a great find—cozy, peaceful, and the perfect escape from the busyness of everyday life. We loved relaxing in the rocking chairs on the front porch. Lisa was a wonderful host—super communicative and even checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be back!

We arrived to a tranquil cabin. We enjoyed how quiet the street was and how we were able to hear the birds chirping and see the squirrels chasing each other. We rented this cabin to get away from our busy lives and we were able to relax and slow down and enjoy nature. The cabin is cozy and has everything you need to relax and cook your meals. There are books available on the main floor and in the back bedroom in the loft library. The kitchen has not only a coffee pot (we love to drink coffee) but also an espresso machine AND a coffee bean grinder. The kitchen had every item we needed to cook our meals as a family. We loved the kitchen table with the bench seating and chairs. It was a great table to enjoy completing puzzles on as a family. When we needed time to unwind, we used the jacuzzi in the back. Private area where we could relax. Beds were super soft and comfortable. We went to the cabin to unwind and relax and we were able to do both very easily.

Super cute cabin with a mix of modern finishes and rustic charm! The location is perfect for walking to everything in town, and a short drive away from plenty of trailheads. The beds are comfy and the neighbors are quiet. Renee is a kind and thoughtful host - super responsive, let us check in early, and was proactive with detailed instructions and local recommendations.

This place is truly special! The peaceful silence, wide open sky, beautiful garden, and the soothing sound of birdsong throughout the day—all centered around a charming cabin—created the perfect atmosphere to disconnect and recharge. Susan was incredibly helpful and proactive, offering great recommendations to explore the best of the area. Highly recommended!

Sandra’s place is amazing. It’s perfectly located giving you easy access to town as well as multiple trails for hiking. The hot tub is great, fireplace is easy to use…. The place is perfect. She’s also thought of everything. From leaving flashlights, head lamps, dog poop bags, lint rollers… anything you need, it’s there. I highly recommend staying with Sandra!

The Cozy Cabin is a perfect spot for a quiet weekend getaway. My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and the place was perfect. It is close enough to town to grab some coffee or a bite to eat. We also enjoyed just sitting out on the back desk enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature and the wind blowing through the trees.
