Beachfront holiday rentals in Palmas del Mar

AMAZING place, beautiful beach! Super clean house, loved having a washer and dryer! Amenities were great! Would definitely stay again!

I don't use the term "breathtaking" as a rule, but I literally gasped when I saw (and heard) the pounding surf at the edge of the property. The view of the coastline, including the lighthouse, was glorious. The house was everything you could ask for and more, including a well-furnished kitchen. The only glitch was that the Google map pin didn't work, and we drove right by the house. But we texted the caretaker who responded immediately and drove to meet us and led us right to the spot. She could NOT have been more helpful, gracious, and accommodating. We walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner and made friends with the local cats, dogs, and chickens. We had a memorable 2 nights. Wish it could have more.

Giselle’s place was beautiful! We had plenty of outdoor space to enjoy and its proximity to the pool made it convenient. The kitchen has beautiful counters and backsplash and was well equipment with everything we needed during our stay. The apartment looks updated with tasteful decor. As a host Gisselle was proactive in providing detailed instructions to ensure check in/out was smooth. The complex has controlled access and a security guard(s) that made us feel safe.

The view itself is worth everything!! Such a beautiful place. Walked down to Playa Mario to catch the sunrise 🌅 10/10, Juan & Liza were always on top of everything, super friendly and responsive. Would stay again!

Beautiful home! We had a great time soaking in the sunshine lounging by the pool and on the balconies. The living room and TV spaces were comfortable and there was a fun surprise basket of toys for our toddler to explore! There’s a great trail for walking or running through the neighborhood which we loved as well. Great spot!

What an amazing place! The pictures honestly don’t do it justice. We loved it all. The neighborhood has so many gems. A word to the wise, if you think another beach is just a short drive away, be warned, the mountains to get there can be steep. But no one is in a rush and the result is usually well worth some white knuckles. You can’t go wrong staying here. It’s magical.

Our family travels a lot, and we don’t like resorts or gated communities. Jose‘s place was perfect for us. Open, spacious, unobstructed and gorgeous view of the ocean. Very quiet, perfect for families or those without children, alike. Sun drenched rooms in the morning, the sound of ocean waves, and the beach was incredibly private. We saw very few people other than the wonderful residents of Punta Santiago, whom we got to know by walking the neighborhood and visiting the stores. Don’t hesitate. Communication from Jose was outstanding, and it was a little bit hard to find the property, but only because it was night time when we arrived, and a few of the roads can be a bit confusing the very first time. After that, it’s a cinch.

Highly recommend this place if you’re looking to relax and recharge. We’ll definitely be back!

Un lugar tranquilo donde pude disfrutar con mi famila. El apartamento bien cómodo con todo lo que uno necesita y más. La seguridad del lugar y su personal es excelente y muy amables. Nunca tuve problemas de comunicación con los anfitriones y el lugar nos encantó. Se pasa muy bien en la terraza de arriba siempre y cuando con mucha discreción ya que el lugar es bien silencioso. En fin, muy recomendado.

I can begin by saying this place was clean, big and very peaceful! It was the perfect place to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary with our kids and grand baby. It’s was very comfortable for a Family of 7 plus a toddler. They pretty much stocked that entire home with every thing you might need, especially the kitchen. Private beach was perfect and pool was great. My so. Loved playing his vacation playlist on your Sonos system around the property! Last thing, Hector was amazingly helpful, went beyond his duties to make sure our stay was perfect, and always answered our calls, or texts. After renting so many homes this was the first time we had a Maintence person available to us and treated us like we were friends for a long time! Thank you Stephanie for thinking of everything, we will be back and you will be recommended! Until next time!

The Marabella Club condo is a unit on the 3rd floor with a mountain view and a few steps to the pool area and beach. Very quiet and beautiful. We would walk along the beach or lay by the pool and see very few people. Mostly Americans and very friendly employees particularly appreciated Gustavo at the gate (who can answer questions and provide helpful suggestions). When you arrive, there is one gated entrance into Palmas Del Mar and another gate into Marbella Club. The condo was clean, very soft bath towels and linens. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen has a cabinet with condiments, basics, newer appliances, coffeemaker, airfryer. The countertop could be updated but very clean. We stopped after airport and bought groceries at Ralph’s in Humecao as there is only a small market in Palmas Del Mar (plaza). The only challenge was the elevator is not available now as they are installing a new one so you must use the stairs. Favorite restaurant- Bocata! Thank you Jose!

Three of us visited from Texas. We wanted something away from San Juan and closer to our family in Guayama. Be aware if you are not used to driving in PR, this place may not be for you. You must drive over windy roads in the mountains. As far as the condo, my only complaint is having to wait on the gentlemen at the gate to be present to open it. Thankfully, it only happened once, and just for a few minutes. Otherwise, it is a beautiful place and location if you like peace and quiet. It is located high on a hill so the view is impressive. We took advantage of the elevation to walk up and down the hills. The beach is not suitable for swimming as it is very rough water but the nature reserve is a nice place to walk. The condo does have a great pool. The nearby restaurants are great. The grocery store, Mi Gente, is close by if you are note wanting to eat out every day. The condo was very clean, beautiful, and spacious. I would highly recommend. It is a perfect place to relax.

Our stay here was nothing short of fantastic. The view coming out of the house our first morning was breathtaking. This little house is literally nestled right in between the Caribbean Sea and the mountains. Nearby are several exceptional restaurants and about 30 minutes away are smallish towns with shops, pharmacies, etc. The house is exactly as described, with a gorgeous outdoor living and dining room on the first floor near the pool, with a full bathroom. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, kitchenette, living room and another full bathroom. The beach was about 100 steps away from the property. The pool was fantastic for when the sea was a bit choppy and at night. We fished and swam in the sea and saw lots of sea life snorkeling. We wanted for nothing and the hosts were quick to respond, super helpful and very friendly. I can't wait to return! Note there are screens on the windows if you don't like bugs. We did encounter a few mosquitoes, but not many.

Beautiful views of the ocean. Loved having coffee looking out at the ocean every day. Cute and comfortable vacation home for our family of five. We didn’t use the downstairs bedroom (only for a load a laundry and to use the 2nd bathroom). Air conditioning units in each room were used when in the house got warm at night. It was communicated several time that the weekends are pretty “festive” and you can hear cars playing loud music from the road so that wasn’t a surprise. Sound machines are provided but we actually travel with one for our youngest child. After the first night the traffic noise/occasional loud playing car music didn’t bother us and only really noticed it on the weekend. Excellent communication ahead of our stay & during our stay. Hector was very friendly when posing questions. Actually everyone in the area was very friendly. We were glad we avoided the crowds in San Juan and experienced Patillas. Would definitely recommend this home to other families.

Xavier was an amazing host and the property was perfect for our vacation. Our family of four fit very comfortably and the short walk to the beach and pool were perfect. The unit was clean, fully stocked, and exactly as advertised. We appreciated the many suggestions for local food and things to do. Palmas del Mar offers a lot of fun with great eating spots, places to walk, a spot to feed the turtles, and so much more. Highly recommend renting a golf cart to get around, our teens loved this. We would love to stay here again if we make it back to PR!

We really enjoyed our stay at Vista Del Mar. It has a beautiful private ocean front setting. We loved having breakfast on the terrace with the ocean in front of us. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful with excellent recommendations. The unit was clean and comfortable, and we had every amenity we needed. This part of PR is not heavily touristed, and we experienced a small slice of local life. There are parks within driving distance, and many fish and seafood restaurants nearby. We highly recommend a stay at La Vista Del Mar. Thank you, Jim and Teresa for your warm hospitality.

I loved this location! It was on the water and the sound of the waves on the rocks below was like magic. If you need a place to get away and relax this is it. There is a mini mart upstairs too with available conveniences. All of the attendants at the mini mart are also very friendly and helpful . The outdoor restaurant was also great, we got food there and togo and both times spectacular. Bartenders friendly and attentive, food very tasty. Location exactly as described, perfect for myself and my husband. Thank you!

Second visit to this incredible property and, again, perfect in every way. Safe, secluded neighborhood on an absolutely beautiful beach. The front porch is the highlight - sunrise over the ocean, shady and cool breezes in the afternoon. The house is immaculately maintained and spotlessly clean. It's also so well supplied that it feels like our own home - little things like extra trash bags, paper towels, spices, first aid kit make traveling effortless. I can only hope that future guests will treat this family vacation home with love and respect so we can continue to visit.

Marissa is quick to respond to any of your doubts or questions you may have. This is my first Airbnb experience and Marissa made me feel at ease with how the check-in process work and where to park. I am extremely grateful for Marissa’s hospitality and look forward to repeating my stay in the near future.

Appreciate owners communication, great place to stay

Our family had a wonderful stay at Cynthia's place in Palmas del Mar! The property has incredible views and is well-situated for easy access to multiple beaches (all of which were gorgeous and minimally crowded). Palmas del Mar is a lovely private neighborhood, and Cynthia was very helpful in recommending places to eat/shop during our trip. The house was stocked with entertainment, kitchen supplies, and beach accessories. Cynthia was incredibly accommodating, hospitable, and provided excellent communication which made every step of our visit seamless. Our family hated to leave after a week and would be quick to return to this property should we visit Puerto Rico again! Thank you, Cynthia!

This condo was PERFECT for our family! It was just our 4 person family that stayed here and it was our kids first vacation not having to share a room which was perfect! You can walk or drive down to the beach. We opted to drive so we didn't have to carry our items across the parking lot. There is an outdoor shower right inside which was great to rinse off before heading back to the condo. You are close to the pool. We had a minor issue with the refrigerator and messaged Marley. She was VERY responsive and actually got us a whole new fridge! It wasn't a big issue for us because we did eat out most of the time but it was nice to have a cold fridge for water. The condo is close to restaurants which was very cool and about 15 minutes away from grocery stores. It's hard to explain but the condo is centurally located to a lot of things but still peaceful. I highly recommend for families! It was our first time visiting PR and we will definitely be back!

We loved out stay at Rafi’s place. Came here to celebrate my brother getting married and we had a blast. The place was in immaculate condition and there was a lot of things to do within a 30 minute drive from the house. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice quiet stay away from the main city.
