The cabin is within short walking distance of pubs, dinning, and the lake. A mile north is a bowling alley and put put golf and ice cream. At the harbor on Friday nights they have music in the park, rent boats or kayaks, or have dinner on the lake.

Walking distance to downtown, Cheeseburger festival, restaurants, brewery, beach, grocery store, marina and a short drive to Port Austin with many beaches on the way. Challenging to be in the Woods AND have good Wi-Fi! If you have a hotspot, and your signal is good that may be your best option. Compost toilet challenge: experience our compost toilet with no smell!… Or you get a free night! HOT TUB (shared with host house). There is never/rarely a schedule conflict for the hot tub.
