This little gem is sure to make you feel at home! Our Barefoot Bungalow sits on a quiet residential street just 3 minutes from downtown Hartsville. The beds are comfortable, the couch is just waiting for you to settle in, and the kitchen was set up by two people who LOVE to cook. There's even an outdoor space to have a quick meal or enjoy the cool of the evening. This is my little dream cottage and I am so happy to be able to share it with you!

Nicole's place was amazing and gave the feeling of what AirBNB was meant to be. Family photos and history, live plants, vintage decorations throughout. It truly felt like a country house experience. The yard is beautiful lush green grass, very secluded down a gravel road. The front porch, incredible! A serene escape from reality. The house is beautiful and we were even welcomed by fresh baked banana bread. So nice. They felt like people who truly cared about our experience. we would 100% book again.

words cannot describe how amazing this property is ! it’s peaceful calm and cozy! she provided instructions for check in and was very responsive. she also provided any and every thing you can think of , shampoo, towels , qtips , food etc . the neighbor was super friendly and welcoming ! 10\10 will definitely book again !

"Diamond in The Rough”

Christy's place was beyond lovely. The area was quiet and private, which was exactly what we were hoping for. (Her choice of decor has inspired us to follow her lead in our own home -- we loved the style, and she thought of every need her guests might have.) We were able to prepare meals with plenty of kitchen utensils and serving items. There are parks and scenic areas near the cottage, but we just wanted to look out the windows and enjoy the surroundings, which we did. The Country Kitchen in Cheraw was great, and we enjoyed Moore's Drive In in Chesterfield (my husband highly recommends the Deluxe Burger and Round-a-bouts, and I loved the pimento cheese sandwich). All in all, we had a great vacation at this beautiful cottage and hope to return sometime. Thank you, Christy!

Could not have been more pleased. Peaceful neighborhood with serene landscaping in super private location. Cottage felt nostalgic and current all at the same time with perfect layout. She has all the necessities and “extras” to make our stay perfect. All the best Hartsville restaurants and shopping was within walking distance. The walk itself is a treat with Live Oak Trees surrounding the path to a quaint downtown atmosphere. She provides binder full of local references and recommendations. It was our first trip back to Hartsville since moving away a year ago. I never considered Hartsville a “destination vacation spot” before but now it most definitely will be. Any parent that is lucky enough to have a child at Coker or Governor’s School will find these accommodations perfect for a visit. The larger house on the property is perfectly situated to allow your privacy. The Cottage is definitely a smaller space for 2 maybe 3 at the most: house is spacious if more room required
