Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Pauri Garhwal

A li’l Shangri La overlooking some of the most famous Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi & Trishul. After a long 18 hours flight from California, U.S.A., the house felt like heaven on earth - serene, peaceful and an ideal place to relax & rejuvenate. The air is clean and crisp, on a clear night, the star gazing was delightful. Randhir is a host par excellence, who went above and beyond to ensure that it was a unique once in a lifetime holiday for our group of 8 friends. Right from the picnic with delicious food by the river to the day trip to the quaint town of Ranikhet, Randhir helped us with all the logistics to make it completely seamless. Nivriti has very comfortable rooms with attached baths. We could order food from the menu, which was prepared fresh and it was delicious and very reasonable. The icing on the cake was the bque of yums succulent kabobs with veg choices prepared on a coal grill under the stars. The house has stunning 360o views. Will be back soon for a longer stay.

Our stay at the listing was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The place was exactly as described—clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was impressive, from the cozy furnishings to the well-stocked kitchen. This place made us super nostalgic, I came with my grandmother and she is 85 and she loved the place because it’s just so similar to hers in the hills. Our host, Virendra was wonderful—responsive, thoughtful, and always ready to help with great local recommendations. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a seamless and enjoyable stay. We can’t wait to return and would love to visit again .

Saddam is a very great host and we really enjoyed our stay at his place. The view from the room upstairs was very relaxing. The house is not very far from the Dhela and Jhirna gates if going towards Jim Corbett. Nainital is a 2 hours drive away. We also really enjoyed the Halva prepared for us the second day. Thank you for hosting us.

5 Stars – Highly Recommend! I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, stylish, exactly as described, and all the amenities were well thought out like WIFI and washing machine.. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, offering great local tips and making check-in a breeze. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with everything I needed just a short walk/drive away. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Dehradun.

Naveen ji is a humble person and an amazing host who doesn’t bother his guests with anything. The view from the property was amazing. All the amenities and the services were properly taken care by the caretaker , Dev. Our experience was great at this property as everything was well managed and delivered to us in split of a second. Will recommend 10/10.

It’s a wonderful place amidst the beautiful mountain range. We had a great time at Churanjiv’s Paneru’s! Krishna bhaiya was always available for assistance and we had a great time with our pet! Luxurious experience, perfect stay and a complemencomplementary coffee, what else could we ask for!

It was fun at HR Residency, place is peaceful with no disturbance outside. You will get a beautiful view from your balcony. Blinkit and Zomato is also available at the location. Plus, you can easily walk for some good nearby cafes or bakery. Overall it's totally worth it.

I had an amazing stay! The place was exactly as described clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in a breeze. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed but still peaceful and quiet at night. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, and I felt right at home. Great place, you feel right at home with your family, for those who live in apartment style homes. Nice mountain views from all rooms, good food and nice big confectionery store right next to the property is very convenient.

This place and the caretakers are just lovely and reminiscent of your own home in the mountains. Also beautiful lawns for kiddos / pets to run around, super clean and right next to good eating places. We had a great time :)

While the house is a little old,it's extremely well maintained. All the rooms were very clean and spacious. The wifi speed was very good,thus the property is a good place for a workation as well. I had an excellent stay at Surya's place. The PS console was the highlight for me!

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb last weekend. The host was very responsive, and the place had a warm, homely vibe. One of the highlights was the freshly prepared hot food served at our convenience—felt just like home! The caretaker was extremely helpful and made sure we were comfortable throughout. The property is spacious, clean, and surrounded by lush greenery, making it a peaceful getaway. A couple of things to note: the place felt a little expensive, possibly due to the long weekend. Also, we initially thought there was a natural waterfall within the premises, but it turned out to be a man-made feature where taps are opened to mimic a waterfall. Overall, a great stay if you're looking for comfort and nature.

I recently stayed in (Villa 3) and that was really beautiful, with wonderful views and the location around the property was very peaceful and very close to nature. The Rooms was spacious and comfortable, with helpful and friendly care taker. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
