We had wonderful stay as family and enjoyed serene surroundings, peaceful ambiance, enjoyed fully home cooked food .

The stay was awesome for us. The place is very neat and clean. The host is very friendly and her parents staying downstairs take care of each and every need for us. Uber/Ola rides are accessible within a minute , Blinkit is also easily available, convenient stores are nearby. Finally we enjoyed our stay, Home away from Home!!

Extremely well behaved owner..He communicated proactively after booking..came himself for the check-in as we arrived late…process was very smooth..Last but not the least we asked for late checkout and he not even asked why ..Excellent host Mr Rahul..Keep up the good work..

The bnb is at a great location and surroundings are peaceful and serene. Chiranjiv was great host, always responsive and available. Place had all the amenities and looked like as described in the pictures. Overall it was a great stay.

This cottage is very charming and warm. The architecture of the home is very interesting. The upstairs room feels like a tree house with a peaked ceiling and the downstairs opens up to the outdoors. Everything is there to enjoy a long term stay and the location is peaceful while being very close to all the activity of Rajpur Rd. The garden is lovely and attracts the most beautiful hummingbirds and butterflies. Easy to use swiggy and blinkit from this location. I highly recommend 🪷🙏🏽

It was really a nice stay. The place is great for some peaceful time, with beautiful surroundings. Ajay and Shraddja was very supportive and proactive.

The location was peacufel and serene. The property was very well maintained and everything was emaculate. The host Anubha is tremendously sweet. She made it feel like we were at our home with all the welcome gifts and her lovely hospitality. The caretaker Rashmi didi is the sweetest lady. We had the best time of our lives for the two days we stayed here. And the next time we're in dehradun, we'll definitely choose this stay without a doubt. It is truly a hidden gem. If you are looking for a quite, private place with a magnificent house, then this is the place for you.

Stayed here for a week in second half of April 2025. Although it's a rather dense locality, the place itself is located at a cul de sac of a small enclave. The place was cooler than I had expected, possibly due to the presence of several large old litchi trees, laden with fruits that provided a very good green cover and really enhanced the ambience. There was a wheat field behind the house, hidden away, with a ready to harvest standing crop. Col Thapa was a thorough gentleman and an empathetic host. On a side note, I was curious about the drums suspended from the litchi trees, but forgot to ask about it.

We had a good and warm stay that genuinely felt homely. It’s a great option for travelers, especially with the availability of home-cooked food and efficient chai, coffee services. Essential amenities like laundry, Wi-Fi & AC were all up to the mark, ensuring comfort. The overall cleanliness and positive vibe were noticeable. We appreciated Ranjana ji’s helpfulness (various small enquiries) which made things much easier. This place also works well for a staycation, as it provides all necessary amenities. uncles place was really good for those wish to stay both long and short period of time. the room we stayed had capacity of 6 people, 3 in each room, the kitchen was of good size and had all the utenses for those which to cook. it did not had hot water but we boiled our own hotwater for bath. the second night we did not had AC as there was issue with electricity in the area. but host has inverters and each room had two fans. host was very helful; when we needed the doctor and provided us with helper and washing machine to wash our clothes. the place is clean, safe and in good quite area. i hopr that he carries on with same standards.

Even though it was a last-minute booking, I'm glad to have found the Herne Lodge. It really did feel like a home away from home. The hosts are some of the friendliest and warmest people I have met recently. They are completely invested in the well-being of their guests. As I was a solo female traveller, Mr and Mrs Khanna & their staff took great care of me, even calling me up to check on my well-being when I went out on my own. They also provided helpful and excellent recommendations in terms of things to do such as safe trekking routes and eateries in the neighbourhood and further away in Landour and Mall Road. It helps that they have a kitchen that serves up home-cooked meals for times when you don't want to head out. Even when I didn't or couldn't go out due to inclement weather conditions, it was great to relax with a book and a cup of masala chai and enjoy the gorgeous views from the shared balcony. I'd highly recommend the Herne Lodge for both families as well as solo travellers.

We had a wonderful stay at 85 The Ganges in Rishikesh. The property is located in a beautiful and peaceful area, with the Ganga river just a short walk away. All major attractions like Marine Drive, Ganga Ghat, and Veerbhadra Temple are within walking distance and Triveni ghat is also very near making sightseeing very convenient. The property owner, Ms,Sohini is a genuinely kind and caring person—very cooperative and always willing to help. Her warm hospitality made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was a truly pleasant and memorable experience. We would love to visit this property again and again.

The property offers a serene retreat with breathtaking views, perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle. That said, access can be a bit tricky without your own vehicle, as it involves climbing a fair number of steep stairs and there are limited auto or cab options nearby and definitely challenging for someone with kids/aged family members. Still, it’s a wonderful place to stay, and the complimentary Ganga Aarti experience adds a special touch. A big shoutout to Ansh—he was incredibly helpful when my car broke down. He accommodated a late check-in and check-out without hesitation and even provided taxi details for the rest of my trip.

The stay was amazing! The view from the balcony was great, and everything was perfectly aligned. The place was clean, and all the essentials were provided. Akhilesh was proactive and always responded promptly to our queries. They even provided us with a scooty to roam around. It was such a wonderful experience, would love to stay here again. The location and view are excellent. The apartment itself is beautifully done up, interiors are in a Bohemian style and very soothing. Reena ji was super helpful in coordinating everything. Our only gripe was that, the apartment infrastructure is not that well-maintained. For eg., in one of the bathrooms the shower was not working, which got fixed later on. Then that bathroom's sink had a drainage issue. On our last evening, the kitchen sink's drainage pipe disconnected, and water leaked all over the floor. Reena ji was again helpful, sending people to fix it - but we couldn't use the sink that evening. But as nothing is perfect, these minor grievances aside, stay was excellent, very calm with the magnificent views of the pristine Ganges from our balcony. That last part, for us, overrode everything else, which is why I still am rating it 5 stars! PS: Note that if you don't have your own transport, you are dependent on the local autos, which you have to call and book in advance.

Cozy and comfortable place, matched the description. They even provided us early checkin. Very responsive host. Only thing is that washroom had a consistent pungent smell.

The place is overall really good. All the facilities matched the discription given on the Airbnb app. The only thing which could be slightly not good was the location of the place which is slightly away from the city.

It was excellent experience. Parking is little tough otherwise everything is excellent.Sanya is so supportive and helping.i will come again for sure.
