Fern Cottage is the most beautiful place we've stayed in. It is immaculately presented and very welcoming, we felt at home from the moment we arrived, then didn't want to leave after our stay! The cottage has extra touches that made it a lovely comfortable stay, we loved looking at the photos/paintings all around the cottage, and really enjoyed the log burner on a colder evening. Anne has thought about everything you would possibly need and more! The views over the fields were beautiful, so we spent many hours in the peaceful conservatory and garden, overlooking the fields. we also went for walks, watching the sunset was amazing! We can honestly say that you will have a lovely time at Fern cottage. Thank you Anne & family for sharing your beautiful home with us!

I stayed here to visit Minsmere and it was absolutely perfect. Kind, friendly hosts, visits from Dynamo the dog and really thoughtfully put-together accommodation. For nature lovers, you’ll wake to the sound of a lesser whitethroat and other birds outside and might encounter badgers as you drive back to the accommodation in the evening. I felt right at home and will be returning whenever I need my Minsmere fix!

We spent a well earned night away at the Pond Mirror House. What can I say? Peaceful, quiet, beautiful surroundings. The Mirror house is a unique dwelling, with everything you need for a short stay. The breakfast items included in your stay are just what you need. Tea, coffee, water and a few beers were well received. Plenty of towels, lovely bed, wonderful view from the bed to watch the sunset and to wake up too. The hot tub was very clean and functioned perfectly. Thoroughly recommend the Mirror houses to anyone wanting a unique, quiet, undisturbed, break. Very nice pub 1 mile away, easy walk. Will be recommending to friends.

Lovely cottage, with everything you need and more, so much attention to detail with lots of little special touches. Great location, country walks literally outside the front door. 10 min walk to Halesworth high street, full of lots of independent shops/ eateries. Very friendly people. Easy access to public transport to go to beaches/ towns around the area if you don't fancy driving. Also comfy to just chill out and relax from every day hustle and bustle. You do need to take care on the stairs as they are very small and tight. Thank you Helen for letting us stay at your wonderful cottage.

Horseshoe Barn is in a beautiful and tranquil location which, although in the host’s garden, we found to be very private. Our host Debbie and husband Ray were really friendly and helpful and made our stay so very enjoyable. We particularly loved being introduced to the alpacas and listening to the variety of birdsong around us. Horseshoe Barn was a pure delight and had everything we needed to make our stay a memorable one. We would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a peaceful break in beautiful Suffolk. I had such a lovely peaceful few days here. I was working nearby and wanted a base that would be quiet and comfortable but also easy to access and leave. Everything about this place was really lovely. It had everything I needed in terms of a simple kitchen set up, comfortable bed, very comfy sofa. It was extremely clean and clutter free. Easy to get in and settle in. Charlie and Milly were very accommodating with an early check in which made my arrival more relaxed ahead of work. The space was much more spacious than I expected. Lovely views of greenery out of every window and so quiet. Parking right outside so easy to unload. I didn't explore the area as I was working but it felt nice and remote and in the middles of the countryside but I passed some little cafes and shops nearby.

We had a lovely stay at Tipple Cottage. The cottage was so cosy and warm and the wood burning stove was an added bonus as it was very cold outside while we were there. All the fittings and furnishings were lovely and everything was very well thought out. Although the cottage is on an A road it was not noisy or overly busy and it was very quiet at night. The parking for the cottage is right outside the front door and there was always more parking available on the village green just a few steps away. We would be very happy to stay there again.

This was our second stay at The Garret and we loved it just as much as the first. It’s such a special place, peaceful, full of charm, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The studio is spotlessly clean, really well-equipped, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Alison and Alan are fantastic hosts, so warm and welcoming and the homemade cream tea and ginger biscuits on arrival were absolutely delicious. A perfect base for exploring Framlingham, the coast, and beyond. Can’t wait to come back again next year.
