You don't often come across a place like this on Airbnb. The more than 130-year-old log cabin in the cultural heritage landscape of Suvanto takes its residents on a time travel to a 19th century village in the far north of Finland. The property is best suited for a friend of Lapland's nature, history and silence, who is not afraid of the dark in winter or mosquitoes in summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

Cozy cottage in a quiet location, close to Pyhä ski resort, ski trails and Pyhä-Luosto National Park, about 140 km from Rovaniemi and Santa Claus Village. The cottage has been renovated to modern standards and has a well-equipped kitchen. Downstairs bedroom with a double bed and wardrobe. Upstairs, there is another double bed and a workstation. In addition, the cottage has a fireplace, sauna, washing machine and clothes drying cabinet. In the courtyard of the cottage there is a campfire place for outdoor bonfires.

Our authentic timber lodges are private owned by our family. The location is amazing, right in the middle of Pyhätunturi Lapland, 50 m from the slopes, ski tracks and restaurants and 150 m from the grocery store and national park. The lodges are comfortable and simply furnished having a private entrance, kitchen and bathroom perfect for independent travelers. The garden is safe also for small children. Well-equipped kitchen, newly renovated bathroom and sauna, fireplace, dishwasher and washing machine. Pets welcome. National park trails, ski slopes and a ski resort are in the immediate vicinity. Distance to Rovaniemi and Santavillage 130 km. There is a bus connection from Rovaniemi to Pyhätynturi.
