The beautiful surroundings offer wonderful outdoor opportunities - the ski trail to the nearby hills starts from the yard, the adjacent lake allows ice fishing, in the summer you can hike and pick berries in the nearby hills, a rowing boat is waiting on the school beach. Hiihtoladut Suomutunturilla. mutta pihalta voi lähteä järven jäälle hiihtämään. Kalastajalle Kemijärvi tarjoaa runsaita saaliita. Marjat aivan mökin nurkalla odottavat poimijoita.
