A place like this is not often encountered on Airbnb. A log cabin over 130 years old in the heritage landscape of Suvio takes its residents on a time trip to a 19th-century hut village. The property is best suited for a lover of Lapland's nature, history, and silence, who is not afraid of the dark in winter and no mosquitoes in the summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

The cottage has been renovated to the present day and has a well-stocked kitchen. Downstairs bedroom with double bed and wardrobe. The loft has another double bed and a work station. In addition, the cottage has a fireplace, sauna, washing machine, and clothes drying cabinet. There is an outdoor fire pit in the yard of the cottage for a fire.

Charming cottage with all the amenities on a large plot. The distance to the center of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km. The distance to Santa Claus Village or the airport is also about 25 km. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. In spring, summer and autumn, you can go directly from the cottage to the hiking trails of Pyhä-Luosto National Park.
