Leaving the review after staying a month there feel like talking about a friend's place, because that is what all of them became to me. There isn't enough stars for it. Objectively, for people looking into staying: the bed is very comfortable, they maintain everything in great condition (including the perfect swimming pool), amongst the trees, nice outside beds and chairs beds to chill, the recommendations are great, bar/tables area is beautiful, the pool table is fun and very important: the beers are in optimal temperature. Al casa was the highlight of my time in Indonesia and I definitely want to go back there one day.

We had a lovely stay at Leona's place in Setangi. The rooms are large and spacious and the kitchen is really well equipped. The house itself is “far” from shopping and restaurants, so you'll need a taxi or have a scooter for most things (Leona can also help with that). As a family with children, it was a bit of a hassle that the place was so relatively “isolated”, but conversely, it gave a good peace and the spaciousness of the house was a big plus in return. We also recommend the trip to Nipah Beach for a trip on the beach, as the nearby one is not suitable for swimming, but in return for sunset 👍🏻

I met Ameer in Sembelia on a scooter ride and he had invited me to the accommodation. Ameer was very likeable to me and when I arrived there 2 days later, I was completely overwhelmed. The location and accommodation are so incredibly beautiful, extremely clean the family are at heart Good people who speak very good English. One thing I personally liked extremely was the kitchen which I was also allowed to use, which is why I felt at home even faster. On the second day, I cooked Ameer's brother for the family with Jihat. Everyone can speak English very well. There are board games and nature right next to the house offers extremely many opportunities to spend the day. Jungle tours are offered where you can see how palm sugar is made, and cooking classes are offered in the jungle. There are many rivers only a 5-minute walk away where you can swim. 3 times extended.

My partner and I spent a few nights at 4 Angels, before arrival Anton shared with us many details about how to find the house. The place is spacious, tidy, clean and with a beautiful garden including cocunut trees (that can be harvested upon request!) ;) Anton is extremelly friendly and helped us a lot to find activities based on what he understood we like, which is something we really appreciated. The suggestions were spot on. The position is on top of the "main road" which is only a plus since it is a very quite place (lots of pricacy) and through the road is possible to directly access every direction. The house is located close to many points of interest, only 25 minutes away from the capital, very close to the port of Bangsal and surrounded with beautiful nature, animals and very nice surfs spots (for beginners).
