Apartment holiday rentals in Penobscot River

We had originally planned on snowmobiling to this destination but due to lack of snow we ended up just driving up and have dinner instead.. Glad we did. This contemporary condo was very clean and comfortable with beautiful views. Its location on the lake & surrounding area was perfect!! Will be back next year with the sleds!!!

Really friendly host! Brian communicated clearly and provided us with local recommendations for our stay. The studio was very clean and cozy! Had lots of natural light with easily adjustable shades and curtains. The house is a very short stroll to the waterfront and all other attractions in downtown Bar Harbor. We didn't have to use our car except to going into Acadia National Park for our hikes! I would definitely seek out this B&B again if we are ever back in Bar Harbor.

We had a great stay! The condo was very clean and cozy! The host provided clear instructions for a smooth and comfortable stay. We didn’t want to be right in Bar Harbor, so this was the perfect distance between Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park/Schoodic Area. Would recommend!

Everything was as expected. The location is excellent, and the place itself is only a couple of years old and well-maintained. Matsa was great to communicate with and helped us make the stay memorable.

Stayed for 4 nights with 4 adults. Tim's place was bigger than expected; it never felt like tight quarters. The rooms were spic and span, kitchen had everything you'd need to cook a meal. Location was great: having been here before I prefer this side of MDI anyways. Plenty of parking and easy access to Island Explorer as well. Great host: will definitely recommend!

The place was great! Super clean and very cute. Right across the street from the small airport, and walkable to a lobster shack and bakery! About a 20 min drive to bar harbor.

Patrick's place was exactly as described. We'll appointed. It was in a private and serene location. Views of the ocean from the deck and windows facing the ocean were spectacular! Patrick was extremely responsive from booking through departure. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone not wanting the hustle and bustle of the Bar Harbor area. Utterly enjoyed our stay💖✨️

We were very happy start to finish. The location was just so unique and incredible. Right on a working marina, but very quiet. Plenty to see and do nearby. Walk across the pier and buy live lobsters. Christie was extremely helpful and quick to respond when asked. Condo was very well done with plenty of touches to make it homey. A good value! If we come back to Maine, we’ll call her first.

This is a great place but warning*** If you are traveling with anyone that’s elderly or has any mobile impairment(walking), do NOT rent this place is loaded with stairs. I loved it but my mother had a hard time with the stairs and the oversize step into the bathroom. Great location. Grew up in Camden during the summer months as a child and still love returning twice a year. Looking forward to my return.

derek's place is great! it has everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing, extended stay. nestled in a quieter corner of ellsworth, it is a calm retreat at the end of a busy day, yet it is still only a 3-minute drive to downtown ellsworth, where you can enjoy all of the charming local coffee shops, restaurants and gift shops right off of main street. if you're not interested in the local scene, it's also just a 6-8 minute drive to the more developed, chain store epicenter of the town (hannaford, walgreens, mcdonalds, dunkin, walmart, etc). i had zero issues during my stay, so did not need to reach out to brandon for anything. that said, his communication was at all times proactive, detailed and helpful with respect to all of the "routine" things (such as check-in, house rules, and check-out). book this place! you won't regret it.

A great place to stay about 20-30 minutes from bar harbor and Acadia very centrally located. Very responsive and fantastic host I highly recommend him beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood and peaceful surroundings. O would definitely stay again.

Everything was just as described. The place was very clean, very comfortable and spacious. Very equipped kitchen everything you could need.

This place was perfect for our family adventures! The kids enjoyed the games, ping pong, and pool at the office- when we weren’t out exploring. Randy was great, and made sure we were taken care of!

The location of the condo is perfect if you are looking to stay in Maine to explore Acadia. The condo itself is minimalist but completely adequate. The indoor swimming pool and amenities at the clubhouse are perfect for anyone with kids and/or rainy days! The views were beautiful off the deck. I would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay in Ted's place. It has amazing views and the unit is well stocked with all necessities. Highly recommended!

Excellent location for guests who want to spend time in Acadia National Park and also experience all the local eats of Bar Harbor. Easy parking for guests. Great amenities included. There's only one downside: you will definitely hear your upstairs neighbors. Other than that, it's a great stay.
