We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. Thank you for the gift Virginia, it was lovely to meet you 😊

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique dans ce magnifique logement. Le logement était propre, luxueux et répondait à toutes nos attentes. L'environnement est magnifique, paisible et naturel et convient parfaitement à une famille. La piscine était fantastique, tout comme la vue sur la vallée. C'était un plaisir de regarder le soleil se coucher tous les jours depuis la piscine ou le balcon. Tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin dans la maison pour passer des vacances reposantes est là. Jessyca était très sympathique et répondait rapidement aux questions. Nous nous sommes bien amusés et nous pouvons recommander un séjour à tout le monde.

Un petit cadeau de bienvenue nous attendait à notre arrivée, une délicate attention qui fait vraiment la différence. L’hôte a été adorable, disponible et aux petits soins : un accueil extraordinaire qui met tout de suite à l’aise. Je recommande vivement ce logement, les yeux fermés. Une très belle expérience, que je n’hésiterai pas à renouveler !

Apart from getting very lost trying to find it we had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is really beautiful and perfect for our party of 9 (including a baby & toddler). The pool was really fun and we enjoyed the ping pong table. The house was very well equipped and we found lots to do within 30-40 min drive. Lovely restaurant in Coly (10 min drive) opposite the church and great supermarket in Terrasson (15 min drive). Lots of local markets, Sarlat was especially good. Would definitely recommend this beautiful house and we hope to be back one day!

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

Lieux formidables pour découvrir la régions. Pleins d’activités aux alentours. Logement impeccable, chaleureux, et tranquille. La piscine et le jacuzzi sont un plus. L’hôte est très réactif, accueillante et chaleureuse. Tout nous a été expliqué dès l’arrivé avec un petit livret recap, des restaurants, des activités à faire dans les environs. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Mia. Le logement était très propre et fidèle à la description. Le cadre est apaisant et permet une totale déconnexion. Mia est une hôte très réactive. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Rien à redire. Nathalie très gentille et très réactive. La maison est idéal pour se reposer. Situé au calme et proche de Périgueux et de beaucoup de site touristique. La piscine à l'abri et chauffé sur un grande terrasse est vraiment le plus de la maison. Je la recommande vivement.

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

Great recommendations for Chateau's, Restaurants and things to do. We had 8 nights and could have easily had 8 more and still not seen a fraction of what the area has to offer. This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. The loveliest airbnb we’ve ever stayed at!! The owners are so accommodating and their cats and dogs are so sweet. The views are incredible and the gite was perfect- had everything we needed even coffee and every kitchen utensil you could think of! There’s also a BBQ you can use if you’d like. The pool was perfect for the heatwave (and the aircon!) and so tranquil. There’s a book in the room that the hosts have put together with info about local attractions and recommendations that was very helpful! If you want a peaceful get away, it doesn’t get much better than this!

Je kan je geen betere gastheer wensen dan Arnaud! Pro actief of alles naar wens is, of informerend of hulp nodig is. Via de app om je rust en privacy te respecteren, maar nemen de tijd voor een gesprek als je dat wilt. De accommodatie is nieuw en gezellig ingericht met oog voor details. Wij voelden ons er gelijk thuis! De dikke muren houden warmte buiten en je kan er een goede nachtrust hebben in de heerlijke bedden en goede geluidsisolatie. De ligging is gunstig gelegen ten opzichte van de vele bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Er is al veel over geschreven in de introductie van Arnoud en Elodie, maar als je lekker rustig wilt zwemmen, aan de kant wilt relaxen en in de schaduw onder de bomen wilt liggen met een horeca voorziening erbij, ga dan naar Pont de Vicq in Le Buisson de Cadouin. Ook het plaatsje Monpazier is zeker de moeite waard! Normaal liggen supermarkten kilometers ver weg maar in deze plaats is er eentje op 900 meter. Arnoud, Elodie, dank voor de heerlijke tijd!!

Le logement est très agréable, jolie déco et très fonctionnel. Il est idéalement situé au coeur de la zone pietonne mais ne souffre pas de nuisance sonore le soir car les restaurants sont un peu plus loin. La cathédrale est à 3mn et au pied de l'immeuble il y a une supérette très pratique. Le seul conseil que je donnerai serait de ne pas hésiter à s'approcher le plus possible de l'immeuble pour décharger/recharger les bagages sinon les parkings gratuits sont un peu loin. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour pour une première découverte de la région. Les échanges avec les hôtes étaient très faciles. Merci.
