Woodland Cabin - Margot Bed & Breakfast

Our cozy cabin comprises of 3 small separate buildings set in private woodland next to a 200 year old poplar tree & a gentle rocky stream clattering in the background. The cabin is essentially off-grid meaning the water comes from the stream originating the “chalambelle” on the Ardeche plateau. There is electricity, hot water, shower, a compost toilet and a wood-burner. It is suitable for 2 people. Breakfast is included and brought to you in the morning. Dinner can also be arranged onsite.

Medieval Fort, Sud Ardèche stunning loft with pool

Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . In the former workshop of a typical Cévennes farmhouse, you will settle into a very nice loft of about 50 m2. The Workshop is a fabulous hodgepodge of objects that will remind you of many things from your childhood. The cottage was renovated in 2022 with local and eco-friendly materials. It is heated by a pellet stove and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. A large private terrace will allow you to enjoy the scenery and starry nights.
