Omschrijving Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is gevestigd in Oostwoud in het hart van Westfriesland. Het is een cottage-achtige woning gelegen achter ons glasatelier in de diepe tuin aan het water. Het is te huur als B&B maar ook als vakantiewoning voor een langere periode. Er is o.a. een Grand Cafe De Post om de hoek waar heerlijk gegeten kan worden en een pizza eettentje Giovanni Midwoud die ook bezorgd. Er is tegen betaling een motorbootje aanwezig. This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

You are welcome to stay on our organic snowdrop farm all year round. From December through April you will be able to enjoy thousands of snowdrops, stinsenplants, and a free tour around the nursery. We are far from the hustle and bustle of the city but still within easy reach of local towns, villages and attractions. The farm is a beautiful and quiet spot, in the middle of the Noord-Holland countryside of the Wieringermeer polder. Our own small green piece of paradise. We hope to see you soon!

Onze B&B is voorzien van alle moderne faciliteiten zoals bijvoorbeeld een moderne keuken, Philips hue verlichting, smart TV en Quooker. De gezellige veranda is compleet met een luxe jacuzzi en houtkachel. De B&B met grote privétuin en vrij uitzicht is door een schutting volledig afgeschermd van de woonboerderij en alleen voor u als gast toegankelijk. Vanuit de Finse barrelsauna op het aangrenzende terras kijkt u uit over de pittoreske stadsweiden. Een heerlijk ontbijt naar wens is optioneel.

Geniet van rust, ruimte en gezelligheid in deze authentieke stolpboerderij. Onze boerderij is gebouwd in 1904 naar West-Fries model, en heeft naast boerderij gediend als garniturenwinkel. Toen wij de boerderij kochten was hij 116 jaar oud, en had het nodige achterstallige onderhoud. Stukje bij beetje renoveren we het huis, zo heeft het nu weer goed functionerende verwarming! De opbrengst van Airbnb stoppen we weer in het huis, zo zijn we nu aan het sparen voor het renoveren van het dak.

The deck-house and wheelhouse in the back of a former sailing cargo-ship van 1888 is transformed into a small apartment . The rest of the boat is a shop with sailing / marine equipment and a bunker station. The entrance is due to the age of the ship a small steep stair, keep that in mind. The surrounding is a lively harbor with sail-ships and cruise-ships. There is a parking available for €5 - a night very closeby. So enjoy the sound and movements of the water!
