House holiday rentals in Playa Hermosa

We stayed for one week. We loved how peaceful it was and the pool was much needed. The monkeys are the highlight - they come and go without any bother. Could watch them all day.

Camille and her mom are wonderful hosts. The house was like a beautiful dream. It smelled so good every time I entered. The pool was always clean. I saw many animals. We didn't want to leave, but we would definitely come back again with my family to stay longer. The nature, the animals, the birds—I was truly happy there. I recommend that future guests be aware that if the directions don't lead you past Flamingo Beach, you might be on the wrong path. It's better to take the longer route to be sure.

The pool was the best part! We could have laid out all day long! Super fast hot water. Great view. Easy to communicate with!

Michael provided us with a beautiful home away from home for our first family vacation in Costa Rica. The kids enjoyed the pool and the adults had multiple areas throughout the house to relax and reset. The house was beautiful and the views were fantastic! The gated community made us feel safe and the staff helped us with whatever we needed. This home was apart of us making lifelong memories we will cherish. Thank you to Michael for being honest, responsive, courteous, and a wonderful host. We will certainly recommend this home to all our friends and family!

Very big and comfortable house. Wonderful swimming pool. Lots of necessities provided such as beach towels, kitchenware. Neighborhood (gated and guard) very peaceful. Close to restaurants and Playa Hermosa beach. Highly recommend if you're vacationing in the Playa Hermosa area.

Beautiful spacious villa for 6 adults. Having access to the pool area and pool bar is great. Free shuttle (8am - 10pm) that runs often takes you to playa hermosa and to the pool areas. Beautiful views! Would 100% come back. Just be careful to always keep the sliding doors locked as there are raccoons that can open the doors and sneak around for food.

Incredible Villa in an amazing location! The peace and quiet you get in the hills is just perfect after you’ve had a busy day either in the city (short 15 min drive) or out doing excursions. The view and the pool are just heavenly, photos on the listing don’t do it justice. Can’t wait to come back!

Their attentiveness made everything so smooth and hassle-free, which allowed us to just relax and enjoy our time. The best AirBnB ever! I was sad to leave this incredible home away from home. It has everything you need. Usually, rentals lack the right utensils, enough plates, etc… NOT THIS PLACE! This had everything and all the nice extras. I highly recommend this home for an incredible vacation experience. We were able to enjoy all that Playa Grande has to offer plus some other wonderful excursions that were short drives away. AMAZING! Ready to come back.

A nice property off the beaten path. It is a few miles out of Tamarindo with decent roads to get to the house. Beautiful nature surrounding the house. Carolina is very responsive and made our stay easy.

This Airbnb is the perfect place to disconnect. The area is super quiet—ideal for relaxing and recharging. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Rodrigo was an amazing host—always attentive, quick to respond, and thoughtful about every detail. You can tell he genuinely cares about making the stay great. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway away from the noise, this is the spot. Highly recommended!

The house was perfect for our needs. A very walkable location close to a grocery store, restaurants and a quick walk to the beach. The pool was a great addition. The house comes across as more spacious than the photos show. Plenty of beach towels and a beach buggy to help bring your things to the beach. Al was very helpful in arranging a fun boat/snorkel trip for us as well as providing excellent restaurant recommendations. I would highly recommend Playa Hermosa for a laid back beach vacation!

This place is a gem! The location is perfect for exploring the area, the house is stylish and comfortable, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it!

Our stay in Potrero was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. Francisco was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Amy was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, always available to answer questions and offer helpful local recommendations. The home had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable—truly a home away from home. The pool was nice and refreshing, a wonderful addition that made relaxing after a day of exploring even better. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the sunset experience in Las Catalinas and dining at Sentido Norte. Do yourself a favor and make time for both. The views are breathtaking, and the food and atmosphere at Sentido Norte are top-notch. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and well-hosted Costa Rican getaway!

Wow! This place was amazing for our family’s stay in Costa Rica. The pool was a huge hit and we frequently came back mid day to refresh and then go get some dinner. The big double opening doors were awesome in the mornings to let in the sounds of the surrounding wildlife. One of our last nights we went to El Beach Club in playa grande and had an awesome meal. Definitely worth checking out if you stay here! Our kids loved the 2 Cats that seem to frequent the property and were super cute and pleasant. All in all don’t hesitate to stay here if you are looking at this area. It’s a bit of a drive to Tamarindo, but it is really nice at the end of the day to come back to the peace that this offers. We loved it! Great place and amazing hosts!

Our family absolutely loved our stay! The bedrooms were comfortable and we had plenty of room to spread out. The view from the pool was breathtaking! Lisa was super responsive and made us feel like welcomed guests as she gave us a personal tour of the house. We highly recommend renting with the Garrett group!

We absolutely loved our stay at Alina's amazing property. We felt right at home!! The whole property is even better than the pictures. It had everything we needed and beyond. We took full advantage of the lovely deck, pool and spa. Relaxing, playing games and soaking up the Costa Rican sunshine. Even lovely in the little rain we got. So much lovely nature around. The birding from the deck was awesome. We took advantage of her suggestions as to tours, shopping, adventures and great restaurants. We really hope to return someday. Do not hesitate to secure this Airbnb!! It's sooo worth it!!

This home was exactly what I was I was looking for. Just a few days to relax and work online. Everything was immaculate. Communication with staff was quick and helped with any questions or needs. I would recommend this place to anyone. Perfect place for a family or small group to stay and enjoy this area of Guanacaste. The house had all the amenities that anyone would want. Thank you!!

Lovely, clean and comfortable home in a safe and beautiful neighborhood. We arrived in the evening and it was a little bit of work getting into the neighborhood (they didn’t have our names for arrival). Power went out the first morning so that interrupted cooking breakfast (thankfully we brought some food and we used the grill) but then we also didn’t have water or a/c (and then had to get instructions for water filtering system). Also could not get into laundry facilities, even using a second set of keys. Host/concierge was responsive to communication but still couldn’t fix situation. Host/concierge also helped us start outdoor fire pit. Definitely would need to have or rent a car as it is not walkable to any tourist spots, beach, restaurants or stores. We had trouble getting Ubers and getting food for evening meals. We walked to JW Marriott but the beach was not a swimming beach and no amenities unless you stay or pay to join club. We were able to get an uber/taxi from the hotel.

Casa Rosita was amazing….. every little thing. The location, neighborhood, amenities and the furnishings. We spent so much time on the covered porch and pool in the afternoons and evenings. Having access to the beach club was a huge benefit…. We loved hanging by the pool, watching the monkeys and having cocktails. Will be back!

Great location in Playa del Coco! Easy access to the beach, shops, and restaurants, but not in the busy area so still relatively peaceful. 35 minutes to the airport or rental car return location. We will definitely stay again!

Me encantó la casa conteiner! Fuimos a descansar con mi pareja y dos perritas y estuvo increíble. Amé demasiado la piscina y el deck. Y me fascinaron muchos detalles de la casa como azulejos de cocina, baño, puertas corredizas. Hermoso lugar tranquilo para disfrutar y/o descansar. Me quedé con ganas de quedarme más días así que seguramente volveremos!

Alojamiento perfecto para disfrutar en familia o grupo de amigos, cada habitación con su baño respectivo, con cocina bien equipada y todos las comodidades que necesitas para relajarte. Fue un gran hallazgo y volveré sin duda!

Es la segunda vez que visito esta casa y espero poder volver pronto. La atención de Priscila y Steven fue excelente, con un gran enfoque en el servicio al cliente. Steven nos ayudó a organizar un viaje en barco con todas las comodidades posibles, y ambos estuvieron siempre atentos a que nuestra estadía fuera perfecta. Gracias a ellos, tuvimos una celebración de cumpleaños perfecta: ubicación, casa, comodidades y otros.
