Holiday rentals with beach access in Playa Negra

Great host Stephanie and Co- host Meri very responsive and flexible. Very clean units , we stayed in studio for a week and like it rebooked one bedroom few weeks later and we will go there again. Great location beautiful beach kind of private. There is close by restaurant Almond &Corals if you buy drinks or food you can use their beach sitting area,we found it useful if you needed beach chairs. Pool is deep and cold a little bit small but you don’t needed since the beach is very close and beautiful. We really enjoyed the birds in the morning while having coffee. The place is small and cute very modern kind of smart houses, furnished thoughtfully, just needed more specific instructions to use the entrance doors,for example to activate the locks you can’t wave to activated needed to be in touched the surface get the light to enter the codes opposite than what we have. That would be nice if they had flash light for nights and umbrellas for rainy days. We enjoyed our stay in Casa Camerlo

Are you prepared for music and street party until ‘round 1:30am? Do you enjoy a firm king size mattress, cool AC, mini fridge with a kicking little freezer, plenty of living space and a chill deck with just enough width for two chairs and table to watch the party unfold? If so, this is it. If not, I understand and I’ve been there. At this moment, embracing humanity and One Love it is important. Two nights in Paz’s end suite unit was the exact right call. Yummy food, drinks and shops in every direction and even across the street in the live music joint. Embrace it with all your heart, spirit and soul.

The quartet is very beautiful as in the photos, everything was clean, and for sure, the communication with the host was very good, I would come back, thank you very much. 🌸

Lovely studio! Very clean and comfortabel and an unmatched location right at the beach. Bonus points for the excellent wifi and water pressure. Would definetly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful place right next to the beach super clean. I highly recommend this for anybody there’s a market next-door and the beach is right there. The host could not be more welcoming. Amazing hosts. Amazing location. Walkable to the ocean 70 meters from the house. Restaurants just 5. Minutes drive.

I stayed at Manu’s jungle loft for 3 weeks and had a wonderful time. The space is comfortable and rustic, with wonderful views and a very comfortable bed. The beaches nearby are some of the best in the world, and it’s very easy to walk to nearby restaurants or grab a TukTuk any time. Manu and Lucas were kind and gracious hosts. I hope to stay again!

If you love animals & nature, this spot is for you! We got to meet the owner & learned that our stay contributes to planting trees- which is amazing to know! The beaches are beautiful & everyone is so humble and friendly. Worth the trip & we look forward to coming back!

Natacha was great and amazing with us !! She communicated well with us and helped us arrange anything we wanted to do or looking for. If we needed information about anything she was always accommodating us. She did not come back with just one recommendation but several. Always checking in on how we were doing, and if everything was OK, or if we needed anything. La Casa Del Mango was very clean and well organized. The amenities, awesome, well stocked with everything you would need. This whole place is amazing. Oh !! did I mention the pool, amazing. Oh !! did I mention Martin (Natacha husband) super nice, also amazing, Oh !! did I mention the wildlife, amazing. I can keep on going, and going, about La Casa Del Mango in a positive direction but I will end this review with saying that La casa definitely deserves 5 stars out of 5. Nope !!!! no negatives from our family vacation, would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful secluded location near popular beaches and restaurants. Loved the design and layout of the home. We spent most of our time enjoying the outdoor living space, which includes a comfortable seating area and large table. Howler monkeys and agouti in the yard.

Beautiful home. Dawn, the host and owner, lives downstairs and she was incredibly kind and helpful. Pictures don’t do the home justice - it’s stunning - with an incredible yard. Used the pool and meditation deck daily, both of which were amazing.

This is a truely unique experience! It was like living in an open air treehouse. It was an auditory feast. We SAW very little, but we HEARD a chorus of jungle species. Surprisingly few bugs came in but this place is for you if you are OK with that possibility. I really appreciated that the bedroom is a protected space. This place is located at the top of the hill with only one house above it so it is very private. It felt safe for parking and home security. Look for the tiny dart frogs right outside the house, orange ones & blue ones. Look for 2 trees with a stunning nursery for montezuma oropendula birds with 50+ nests at the intersection with the 'Tropical getaway' sign.

a wonderful stay, we had the visit of some animals like the Martilla (marsupial) and a squirrel without pain with humans :) very nice place, everything is very comfortable and I hope to visit again

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Serena. From the moment we booked, Jason and Genny reached out to me with local recommendations. They also allowed me to check in early when we arrived before the scheduled check in time. You can't ask for a better location. It is located down a quiet street, yet right in the jungle and a few minutes walk from beach and shops. The house is centrally located, allowing us to see and do many activities in the area with just a short drive. Our family loved the large outdoor space where we would wake up to howler monkeys in the morning, eat meals surrounded by nature, and relax in the hammocks at the end of the day. We also loved having A/C to cool off at night as well as an actual hot water shower which we didn’t have elsewhere. It was nice having access to both a washer and dryer, too. Jason and Genny are fantastic hosts. They are quick to reply and made it a very comfortable stay for us. This is an amazing place to stay and we highly recommend it.

Beautiful house, with a style attentive to details, very elegant and functional. Great location, ensures the right level of privacy. Very relaxing spaces in the middle of nature, you can observe different species of animals, directly from your comfortable hammock. Away from the noise of the main street, but with 5 min you already arrived at the best beach on the Costa Rica! I also appreciated the water purifier, you can have very fresh and good water to drink at any time you want. Very friendly and helpful host. Best quality / price in the Caribbean

Great apt near the beach. About a 5 min drive to cocles and 10 to Puerto Viejo. Great apt for a couple and dog. Extra sofa bed and outdoor area were nice perks!

Cinzia's place is a quick walk from Playa Chiquita and is located in a secure gated property. it's rare to find a proper safe heated water shower in CR, so to us this was a great place to stay. There is an outdoor shower in case you need to wash off the sand which I found very helpful. Location is also right in the middle of Punta Uva, Cocles and equidistant from PV and Manzanillo. Highly recommended.
