House holiday rentals in Playa Punta Uva

Villa Blossom is first and foremost an amazing value, and second off all beautiful, peaceful, welcoming, and easy! The grounds hosted an insane amount of gorgeously curated plants, trees and flowers! The pool, yoga pavilion, and all common areas were perfect! The staff and hosts were super helpful and attentive if you needed anything or extra services (get a massage! it was amazing). There is a super market attached, the kitchen was well equipped and the beds were super comfy! Just in case your like us and didn’t realize, this is basically two hotel rooms next to each other with a shared outdoor space, and kitchen, there is no living room/couch! We didn’t find this to be an issue (and we had and 8year old) but it would be nice to have a hammock or something. Say hi to the local kitty if you go, and keep an eye out for frogs, Aguitas, SO MANY hummingbirds and other wild life!

The photos don't do the place justice: it's even more charming in person. Here, there are no car or motorcycle noises, only the singing of birds, frogs and monkeys. On one occasion, we went out without my dog. She stayed outside and everything was perfectly locked and safe for her, so we didn't have to worry about anything. The place is really beautiful, quiet and very clean. In addition, the host always responded immediately, which made everything easier. I recommend this place with my eyes closed, we spent three spectacular days and I would definitely come back.

this place was as we had hoped, it was so nice having a private pool for when it got hot and humid and we didn't want to walk to the beach! having a black sand beach 5 minutes away was so beautiful as well. we really enjoyed our stay

Excellent place, just like the pictures. We were a group of 6 people and everything met the description, unpaved street but you can access it with any type of vehicle. Communication with the host was excellent

The home was beautiful and looked just like the photos! Please keep in mind this is an open concept home. So understandably nature will join you if you are sitting in the outdoor common area. We very much enjoyed evenings playing in the pool. The kitchen was stocked with all the needed utensils to cook meals. AC worked great in all the bedrooms. Area felt super safe with 2 gates to get into the home. Can’t wait to come back! Host was prompt and responded to any questions we had.

Jessica’s villa is absolutely stunning – beautifully located in the heart of nature, with breathtaking views all around. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were in paradise. The house itself is super comfortable, stylish, and very “hot” in every sense – both modern and full of character! Surrounded by lush greenery, tropical birds, butterflies, and even monkeys, every morning felt like a scene from a dream. It was the perfect escape from the city and a chance to truly connect with nature. We completely fell in love with Costa Rica – its peaceful vibe, amazing wildlife, and kind people. Thank you, Jessica, for creating such a magical space. We will definitely be back!

Great home, just a few minutes from the beach. Lots of amenities including an outdoor shower pool. The place is small but well designed. If you rent both rooms, you should know that they are not connected and function as separate units. Very safe, secure and quiet. We enjoyed our experience!

I loved the place! really peaceful with beautiful gardens. It rained a lot, but that's tje Caribbean in CR. The place is really closed to restaurants and beaches. You can go by car or bike. The kitchen has the necessary. I will come back definitely

Our family (kids 3, 5, and 13) had an amazing time at Casa Neen! Eric is an excellent host and helpful with everything we needed. He has staff that is also available for things like having a private chef, laundry and cleaning if necessary. The home is comfortable and beautiful. The walk to the beach is very short and safe. We loved this particular beach because it was quiet and natural. We also enjoyed driving 10 minutes away to Playa Cocles to rent surf boards. Anywhere we wanted to go was convenient and quick to get to. Highlights of our trip was the kayak tour with Eric at Iki Tours, chocolate plantation tour with Daniel, surfing at Playa Cocles, breakfast on the beach at Iriria (get the croissants!), dinner on the beach at Beach break bar (homemade tagliatelle was delicious!), and just swimming in the pool every afternoon. Can’t wait to return!

Excellent place to stay in Playa Chiiquita. Quick, easy walk to the beach access, on a small dead end road, super clean, wonderfully comfortable, nice refreshing pool, beautiful garden, and very responsive host. Highly recommend except for perhaps by doing so it might be hard to get a reservation next time ;)

This is the most relaxed I have been in years. I’d stay a year if I could afford it. The sounds of nature just make it so easy to drift off to a nice sleep. The outside kitchen was not difficult to work with. Everything I needed was literally right there. The pool is perfect for relaxing in and is private. While I have a child, it was particularly nice to have a kid free atmosphere where you can just relax. There are so many things to do near by and Jim and his wife are lovely. Luna, the pup, is an absolute joy. I already miss it and can’t wait to come back! Thank you for your hospitality and the relaxing weekend. 🫶🏽

We had such an amazing time at Sarah’s place! Very serene and less than 3 minute walk to the beach. There is so much to do in this area and rides to town are easy to coordinate with Banana Azul hotel just down the street (or you can rent bikes or drive). The Banana Azul hotel also has a great restaurant right on the beach. The bedroom villa has a wall air conditioner and fan above the bed, so it was very cool at night. It was so amazing to wake up to the monkeys and toucans every morning. Sarah also helped to arrange massages and an incredible meal by Chef David. I can’t say enough good things about our stay we’ll definitely be back.

A tranquil setting that is close to everything. the house is set back from the main road, nice and quiet with beautiful gardens and resident Guatusa & baby. lovely to sit in the deck in the hammock and watch them. The house is so beautiful, traditional shutters and modern renovations with everything you need. We would have stayed longer if we could. Thank you.

Wow!! What a spectacular and beautiful home and experience. Agatha was the loveliest host with a beautiful home that she designed herself. The love and care she put into every aspect of this home and experience is 5 star. The views are jaw dropping and the time in the the infinity pool was epic. The home was spotless and very comfortable with an exceptional design. I cannot recommend this home enough! I would say it is probably one of the top homes in the area. We absolutely loved our time in the casita. Playa Chiquita was the perfect location for us, much quieter than Puerto Viejo or Playa Cochles, but with wonderful, charming restaurants and close proximity to Punta Uva, the beach we frequented. The casita itself is well-equipped for preparing meals at home and the glassed-in dining area was a joy. I could spend hours in the hammock, rain or shine, watching the rainforest and listening to the sounds of the jungle. We saw Spider monkeys playing in the trees and a sloth came to visit on the property! The pool was refreshing and wonderful to have after sweaty outings exploring the coast. We were also relieved that though we had several power outages (which is the norm in CR), they were resolved in a very timely matter and there was an emergency light in the living room so we were never completely in the dark. If we make it back to the area we would definitely stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay at Tracie and Terry’s place. They were very welcoming and had a few grocery items to get us started. We were also treated to some of Tracie’s baking - her chocolate chip cookies are amazing! The kitchen was very well stocked of everything you’d need. The wrap around porch is gorgeous and the view from the back of the house makes you feel a world away. This is a great opportunity to spot birds and other wildlife. We were very lucky to see many Green McCaws and Toucans in addition to others. You are a little out of town so I’d recommend having a vehicle. We love the ability to go explore town and then return to the peace and tranquility of the house. The house is well laid out. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The fans are great and work well to keep the house cool. No need for AC. The house is well maintained. Tracie and Terry were there if needed but not at all intrusive. They had great local recommendations. We hope to visit again.

Erin and her husband are incredibly warm and welcoming people who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The house is beautifully laid out, especially for a family with young children and perhaps grandparents as well. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are conveniently located close together on the lower level, and there is another bedroom with a private bathroom upstairs. There are two spacious terraces — one on the ground floor and one upstairs — perfect for doing yoga or meditation while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The pool and house offer complete privacy, which made our stay feel truly relaxing and secluded. At the same time, it’s reassuring to know that Erinn and her husband live nearby, always available to help or offer great local tips. Both are incredibly kind and helpful. The pool is fantastic — you can keep an eye on the kids. We felt incredibly comfortable and were warmly welcomed by Erinn and her husband. We will definitely come back on our next visit!

We had a wonderful stay and felt completely at home. Juan Carlos was a fantastic host—always available, helpful, and full of great tips for the area. The house was very clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Great place. It is super close to the beach, just a short walk. We saw lots of monkeys, birds and butterflies. There is also a restaurant literally next door that is amazing! It’s a bit of a drive to the center of Puerto Viejo (about 20 minutes) but it’s a nice and secluded area. We enjoyed our stay.

Me and my guests loved staying in this jungle oasis! Prior to arriving, Toni was very thorough about what the property was like and kept in contact with us from the moment we landed at the airport to the time we arrived at the gates of the property. He guided us along a beautiful jungle trail and gave us a detailed tour of the house. He followed up with suggestions about local restaurants and places to experience while in Puerto Viejo/Punta Uva. Toni was amazing up to the end of our trip where he met us at the front gates to wish us farewell. This house is surrounded by the jungle and its beautiful treasures. We saw a sloth on the first day from our balcony and as bird + animal lovers, we could not get enough of all of the sounds and sights. The howler monkeys were the most perfect alarm clock to rise to and watch the sunrise. We would be back in a heartbeat!

My room was cozy and inviting, making it hard to leave! But let’s talk about the pool! 🏊‍♀️💦 It became my personal slice of heaven. I loved starting my mornings with a swim, surrounded by lush greenery. The sunsets by the pool were straight out of a postcard! 🌅 Every moment was filled with peace and joy.
