The tower is completely self-contained and its pretty, covered balcony offers breathtaking views over the château's truffle orchard. Internally it is full of character with a circular, beamed bedroom and roll top bath on the top floor and a sitting room below. There is no formal kitchen so this is a place for foodies wanting to experience local French food by eating out

Ideally situated on the bank of the River Vézere in the pre-historic area known as the 'Vallée de L'Homme' between the fascinating town of Les Eyzies and market town of Le Bugue. To explore the area we offer FREE use of mountain bikes and a kayak*, there is direct access to the river and a 12km cycle path. You'll be staying at the foot of the Royal Fortress of Chinon. Located in the heart of Chinon's medieval old town, our studio is a clean, bright, quiet place on the ground floor looking out onto a flowered garden where you can relax during your stay. The studio has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, bath with a shower, a double bed, a large, comfortable sofa, WIFI, and TV. Just outside the windows is a garden area with both sun and shade and tables available for you to enjoy.
