With a big garden and chickens (fresh veggies and eggs in season!), we're frequented by visits from deer, great-horned owls, red-tailed hawks, and sometimes wild turkeys and elk!

This secluded riverside location is just the place for a quiet and comfortable getaway, 3 miles from downtown Salida. Our rural setting is beautiful in every season, offering views of the mountain valley as well as direct access to fishing easements on the Arkansas River. The private suite is an addition to our home with its own exterior entrance, bathroom, kitchenette, and small dining area. This space is most comfortably used by 2 adults with children, or 3 adults sharing the suite.

Get away from it all at our cottage - Retreat at Round Hill. You will have access to miles of hiking, biking & ATV trails. We own 36 acres, including Round Hill, with amazing mountain views all around. We are backed up to National Forest and BLM land. We're located two miles south of Poncha Pass Summit. Only 15-20 minutes to downtown Salida and 30 minutes to Monarch Mountain Ski Area. We have a fire pit and propane grill outside the entryway.

Our restored 1800's mining cabins is nestled in the mountains, bordering Cottonwood Creek. Our one-of-a-kind cabin offers a handcrafted odorless hot springs hot tub with an ever-flowing infinity edge and mood setting led lighting. Your private hot springs is located right off your deck.
