The Gardeners Cottage is set within the walled gardens of Corvisel House, built by Rear Admiral John McKerlie in 1829. We have restored the cottage in a vintage, quirky style with Donegal & Harris tweed soft furnishings & floral accents to reflect the glorious garden outside! It's located at the edge of Newton Stewart so very handy for evening strolls to the eateries in town. You can take walks in our small forest from the courtyard & hang out in the walled garden - green fingers are welcomed!!

Unfortunately no dogs/children/ infants are allowed as we are a working sheep farm & surrounded by water. The luxury caravan sleeps four in a quiet corner on Wig Bay Holiday Park.  The Park has a bar and restaurant (off-peak restaurant open Fri-Sun) with magnificent views over Loch Ryan. A swimming pool (advanced booking for private slots only) and a children's play area. It is four miles from Stranraer's ferry town and offers the most wonderful unspoilt countryside on the Rhins of Galloway peninsula. Places to visit include Portpatrick's fishing village, a botanical garden and sandy beaches.

Secluded cottage in elevated position with amazing views. Recently added garden room onto the existing cottage enables spectacular 360 panoramic views over Wigtown Bay. It is perfect for families or two couples, garden is fully enclosed (except for determined dogs). Kids have space to make dens, climb trees or toast marshmallows. In summer relax on the patio, In winter curl up with a book or board game and enjoy the stunning views from the cosy interior.

Back Lodge. Alticry Farm

Well appointed cottage with spectacular setting and very private. Panoramic views over Luce Bay. Mull of Galloway lighthouse is the view from your double bed. Please note electric cars can be charged at Wigtown or Whithorn. Fast charges 50kw and 25p/kilowatt. Cottage wiring and fuses not suitable. The low power adds 4miles per charge and puts a great strain on the wiring/fuses. Like leaving a 8 bar heater on therefore not available at the cottage.
