We had an amazing long weekend in Kildonan. The apartment is even better than the photo's, was very clean and had everything you needed. The shower was especially good, wonderful pressure and lots of hot water. We had dinner in the bistro below the apartment and the food was delicious. There are also lovely restaurants in Whiting Bay and Brodrick. It was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend staying here.

Really enjoyed our stay at Rory and Jill’s place. Extremely helpful hosts. Very walkable to great restaurant snacks convenient for exploring the area.

My sister and I stayed for 5 days we were very satisfied with the accommodation very clean and everything needed supplied. Can recommend the hotel next door food good, whisky even better. We would go here again. Highly recommended. Stewart & Wendy

A great stay in a very comfortable cottage. We especially appreciated the large dining kitchen, the pretty back yard, the comfy living room with plenty of seating, good WiFi, and walkable location. Loads to do. Highly recommend the Scran Van on the harbour for delicious fish and chips

The Bingham Belle was an amazing stay for our group. It's perfectly situated right next to the high street, completely pristine, and has a comfortable, homely atmosphere. Heather was super communicative and her recommendations were really helpful. It was the perfect place for us to stay in Bangor, and I could easily see our group returning in the future.

Lovely house in an excellent location, very peaceful. Everything was spotless. The house is very comfortably furnished with lovely personal touches, a great deal of thought and flair has gone into making this an exceptional holiday let. The bed linen and towels are very good quality and the beds are very comfortable. Two bathrooms upstairs and a toilet downstairs were very much appreciated The kitchen is very well equiped and although we did not do much cooking, had we stayed longer it would have been so easy to make family meals. The decking outside was a wonderful place to sit on in the evening with a drink. Watching the lough with its tide was fascinating and the views from the bedroom windows are amazing. If we are ever back in the area we would love to return. Leanne was so very prompt with her communication. Killyleigh itself is a lovely little town with very friendly people. I wish we that we could have had a longer stay.

A great place to stay for a small group/family gathering. There are 2 living rooms and outdoor space so room to spread out. We loved the hot tub! The hobbit house is a cool addition with fairy lights, a Bluetooth speaker and is very well-insulated so warm even without the central fire going. The house has beautiful views and was a lovely place to relax and be cosy on rainy days. Only a short (15 mins) drive to the small towns of Kirkcudbright and Castle Douglas, Threave Gardens and the Kite feeding place at Laurieston.

Fantastic house, plenty of space for everyone to hangout together. It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We walked to the beach from the house which was lovely.

Charles was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to accommodate for our family. He has brilliant local recommendations and a very helpful website. Burnside is a beautiful, secluded cottage with everything you could need. Lots of wildlife to be spotted in the garden and surrounding fields and close to many amazing places with countless things to see and do! Can’t wait to return again on our next trip to Scotland. Lesley and Lewis were awesome hosts beginning with our reservation request. They worked with us every step of the journey and were fundamental in the success of our stay. The location was well situated to reach everywhere along the peninsula and up the coast. It was also strolling distance to more eateries and pubs than I had a chance to try in the week. An easy fire set the stage for relaxing and restful nights. This is a definite return destination.

Kate's place was amazing and she was very accommodating with booking at short notice then again when we extended our stay.

Have stayed in a many B&B's, Hotels etc over the years and this is one of the best. Hosts have provided an immaculate, comfortable home away from home. If you want to stay in or near Portpatrick then this is the place. Book it NOW!

Great communication, well equipped and spacious

Came up from London with my partner to visit my brother and his family who live in Creetown. The drive from the apartment there was 10 mins so amazingly convenient for us! The apartment itself did everything you could need. Modern, clean, simple basics, but great internet, comfy bed, and lovely tv. Very lovely bathroom too! We arrived 3 hours late - early hours of morning but the check in instructions were so simple we did not need to disturb our host. Everything was honestly great. A little noise if you’re in the bedroom from the local pub but nothing excessive.

David was a great host and responded very quickly to messages also very accommodating. Beautiful apartment spotlessly clean had everything we needed. Very comfortable and location was central main road is busy but once window closed not an issue. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back again.

Lovely location, walkable to the town centre, beach and along the river. Derek and Angela were great with their communication. A very comfortable property to visit. It was fabulous to see the gathering of swans on the river from the sofa in the mornings.

A perfect stay – truly felt like home! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this two-bedroom apartment. Everything about it was perfect. The place was spacious, very clean, and incredibly peaceful—ideal for a relaxing break. It had all the amenities we needed, and everything was in perfect working order. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the cutlery and utensils needed for cooking, which made it feel just like home. There were plenty of towels provided, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. Both bedrooms had smart TVs with Netflix and even Alexa, which was a nice touch. The location was great, with easy access and good parking available. It was so quiet and serene—we slept so well! Honestly, we didn’t miss home at all. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a peaceful atmosphere. Would love to return!
