We had a fantastic time at Lauren and Pat's lodge! It was very cozy, clean, and well equipped (sheets, towels, beautiful updated kitchen with a good amount of kitchen ware) - the perfect landing spot for our chill girls' weekend. It's situated in a peaceful woodsy area with lots of windows that let in natural light, but it's also conveniently located fairly close to various activities, groceries, etc. Would definitely recommend!

This house was by far one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. So beautiful and well-equipped. Cozy with stunning views—no matter which window you look through, it’s always a work of art. The host was very friendly with quick responses and excellent communication. The location is great. We ate at local restaurants and everything was delicious. I highly recommend following the activity guide that Liza provides—there are some really cool things to do.

A wonderful weekend getaway! My husband and I stayed at Sophia’s place this past weekend after our wedding and it was exactly what we were hoping for. During our wedding we opted to exchange vows privately, but we didn’t end up reading them to each other until the following day after we had arrived. Who else can say that they exchanged vows while sitting by a cozy fire making s’mores?! Sophia’s home will hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for sharing your place with us and being a wonderful host!

We spent our annual ski weekend at Jenelle’s BigFoot Cabin. There was plenty of room for our big family , and the house had everything we needed to feel comfortable. We hope to have the opportunity to come back !

We enjoyed our stay very much. The pond was beautiful, the people friendly. We relaxed on the patio taking in the views, listening to the frogs & loons. Hope to come back again!

The cottage is amazing! It is very private and comfortable. It looks exactly like the pictures. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. We like the fact that it was designed and built for a couple. So many times we have rented a place that is more than we need. This place is perfect for a couple and a dog. We strongly recommend this cottage. Thanks Eric and Debbie we truly enjoyed our stay.

This cabin was the perfect place to stay. We enjoyed visiting the family farm on the property with the kids, which was a perfect way to start the day. The cabin’s location was ideal — close to all the destinations we had planned, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. After a full day out, it was so relaxing to return and unwind by the fire pit while listening to the river flowing nearby — truly peaceful and rejuvenating. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Deborah was a warm, welcoming, and highly responsive host, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Hannah and Ben’s place was the perfect retreat for a quiet getaway! The view from the upper deck was stunning!

Tom and Kayla really outdid themselves with this cabin. They were very flexible when we needed to postpone this trip for a whole year due to illness. They were super responsive and were able to help with a few things. It was the perfect place for our needs.

Beautiful stay as we explored Franchonian Notch. Everything was as expected and the bathrooms were probably the nicest camp showers I’ve used. Considering the amount of people using the shared bath house, I was impressed that they were always clean and I never had to wait. We were also able to use the sauna! So nice to have so many amenities available. Everything on the property was very clearly thought through and convenient! Now I want a Lumen closer to home!

Lovely cozy cabin! I went mid-May, which probably isn’t the best time if you want to enjoy local activities. But it is a good time if you want to just relax at the cabin. The host were really nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

My wife and I are returning guests. We had another great stay and will return for sure. Dan and Stacy are fantastic hosts.

Heidi and Bob were amazing! This spot was peaceful and relaxing, and so well stocked we didn’t need a single thing! Heidi communicated so well and was very proactive with the changing weather and had everything ready for us early! I would recommend to anyone looking for a small quiet place to escape the city, it was so homey and the lake was gorgeous, and so fun to float off the dock and get some sun!

Amazing stay, we had an amazing time. Would highly recommend anyone who wants a nice getaway to try this place.

Great place to stay. Feels very private but also on a nice dead end street. Extremely close to the route 1. 10 min to Ogunquit, 15 min to Kennebunkport and lots to do in Wells itself. Very cozy inside and comfortable. Great private backyard and sitting areas. A few things we knew but just worth noting. As described stair case to second floor is very steep, not an issue for us but just note. Also great AC throughout the house but just know that there are no AC in the actual bedrooms so would need to keep doors open or rely on fans to get cool air in (it was on the cooler side outside so was ok for us) Overall great stay and wonderful host! Thank you

Our 3 night stay was perfect. The cottage was so cute and comfortable. Holly and Howard were extremely friendly and nice.

My wife and I stayed with our dog and it was wonderful, the lake was beautiful and full of fish! Great swimming area that our dog loved, and a dock to fish off. The cabin was perfect and was as shown in the pictures we enjoyed a Nice fire in the provided fire pit, before sleeping comfortably! 10/10 would stay again for sure

The cabin is charming and in a beautiful setting. There were plenty of clear instructions on how to access features of the cabin. Michael and Karen were responsive, professional, and pleasant to work with.

This was our second time at Harold's camp. We love the charm and history of the cabin and hope it NEVER changes. The location is peaceful, beautiful and has everything you need for your stay. Amanda was an exceptional host, very attentive and friendly. We highly recommend staying at her cabin but be warned....You will find it hard to leave! We hope to be back in 2025, thank you for the memories. 10 Stars! BW

Our daughter and her best friend stayed here for a nearby wedding. She said Karen’s place was great, beautiful and lovely and that they had a nice time. Karen was very welcoming and helpful and responsive and the space had a lot of extras. Karen was very accommodating and willing to help with Ubers, etc. Definitely would stay here again if in the area.
