Mansion holiday rentals in Positano

Our days at Villa Torre de Giglio were wonderful! This was a long planned reunion holiday with dear friends from Italy (we are from US) . The visit was made terrific by the hospitality and beautiful and comfortable surroundings of your home. All 11 of us had a relaxing and fun vacation. Lucia (the property manager) was so helpful and the people of Massa (the village the villa is located in) were so welcoming. We loved each day!! Lucia helped us with the luggage up the large hill driveway. We especially loved the pizza party and kareoke which as an optional add on hosted by Lucia and husband. What a treat. Lucia answered all our questions and met our needs. My Italian was not great but we had technology to help us!! The hill up to the house is a significant one (I would not recommend it for the disabled or elderly) but fine for our heathy group. The bus to Sorrento was only 15 minute ride on bus (2 euro) and comes every 20 minutes to Massa city center. Hope we come again

I wish everyone could experience the beauty of this place! I consider myself particular, especially about cleanliness, but this surpassed my expectations. The home is clearly cherished by the owners. The ceramic tile is beautiful and it makes the home so pretty. The art is also spectacular. But nothing compares to the views! Our family of 4 spent 8 days here and we spent hours on the balconies and patios and by the pool just enjoying the views. The nearby village is adorable and there are some great restaurants as well. Chiara is just awesome! She met us at arrival to help with luggage and she gave us recommendations for where to eat and find supplies. She is wonderful and we really enjoyed getting to know her over an evening meal. I honestly have never found leaving a vacation home so difficult. It is large and airy and has a joy that you just feel while you are there. We found the many steps to be helpful in working off all the great food!

Tolle Unterkunft. In der Wohnung sind nochmal 4 Zimmer einzeln aufgeteilt. Jedes Zimmer hat ein Riesen Bad. Es gibt genug Ausstattung. Vincenzo reagiert super schnell und ist ein toller Gastgeber! Wir waren sehr Happy!

We loved this house!! Super modern, had more than needed, peaceful, convenient!!! Amadeo was super helpful with all our request.!! He helped tremendously getting around, all the places he recommended were spectacular! We loved it .!!!! Highly recommended !!!

We absolutely loved the house with several patio’s, ocean views and gorgeous flowers in this peaceful location! Staying in Anacapri is the way to go since Capri was SUPER busy with day trippers. Ivan was a great host, he set up a taxi for us upon arrival in Marina Grande and he also recommended an amazing boat company(Danilo) for an amazing private boat day on the water. One thing to mention is that there are definitely stairs to get to and from the house but we thought it was totally worth it for the views!!!

Piano di Sorrento is a wonderful place to actually experience the local Italian lifestyle. Not only is its proximity to other towns convenient, it also offers its own local markets, grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, fish market, gas station, and marina. These are but a few of the locales within walking distance. Ferries to the Almalfi coast, the islands of capri and Ischia were a stone’s throw from the villa. Any questions or concerns we had were instantly addressed by the house manager Valentino. He went above and beyond! The villa also affords the opportunity to hire a wonderful cook named Rosa. Who catered to us delicious homemade Italian meals. She also makes her own Limoncello & deserts which are absolutely amazing. Valentinos wife Marta provided exceptional service as the house was spotless. We traveled w 13 family members and had the trip of a lifetime. We cannot say enough about our hosts. Riccardo, Valentino, Rosa & Marta Grazie Mille, we hope to come again!

Francesco is a 5 star host that made our stay a memorable experience. We chose this property as we wanted a base to explore the peninsula and have space to relax after a busy day. The property is nestled in a lemon orchard above the small town of Massa Lubrensa. From the multiple terraces you get an amazing view of the ocean and surrounding countryside. We travelled with 4 adults and 4 children and the apartment was modern and very comfortable. Francesco was able to provide us with restaurant recommendations and help us book a ferry to the towns of Positano and Amalfi. For our trip we rented two medium sized cars which we were able to park at the property. I would recommend not renting a large van for this part of Italy as the roads are very narrow and parking is scarce. We enjoyed going for dinner in the local port that has 3/4 nice traditional restaurant and the kids were able to play freely. If you are looking for a unique local experience I would highly recommend this property.

Wir hatten eine super Zeit in Paolas schönem Haus mit fantastischem Blick. Die Unterkunft bietet viel Platz für bis zu 8 Personen. Ein großes Plus sind auch die großen Schränke in jedem Schlafzimmer, die genügend Platz zum aufhängen bieten. Paola war schnell und unkompliziert erreichbar und antwortete auch immer sehr schnell auf Fragen. Auch Claudia und ihre Mutter, die sich um die Belange vor Ort kümmerten waren super nett und schnell zur Stelle. Als wir ankamen, wurden wir schon mit eine Erstausstattung fürs Essen begrüßt. Wir hatten eine super Zeit mit der ganzen Familie und unserem Hund Nelsson. Hier gibt es einen komplett eingezäunten Garten, sodass man sich überhaupt keine Sorgen um den Hund oder kleine Kinder machen muss. Hier konnten alle entspannt die Seele baumeln lassen. :) Wir können das Haus und die Gastgeberin wärmstens empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind. Our family was very happy with our stay at this apartment. The location could have been better for us. Walkable grocery store, nearby laundry service (same day), and just a short walk from all of the delicious food and lovely shops. Not to mention the short walk to a beautiful view of the sea. We easily took day trips to Capri, Amalfi & Positano from here. Tyler met us at the door to check us in and even helped with our bags. He was availble anytime we had questions about the apartment, or had questions about the area. Would stay here again!

The experience exceeded expectations the moment we got there. Never have I experienced being greeted by the owners of Airbnb. It didn’t stop with the greeting, the family was always available when needed and more than willing to help with anything and everything. The place is far up the mountain but so worth it if you’re trying to just get away. If you don’t mind about 45 minute drive away from all the tourist, this is a spot for you. BE SURE TO RENT A CAR if you plan to visit other parts of city. I have no complaints for this place, I would definitely come back. This owners if they place are awesome!!!!

Pictures just don't do this place justice! We had a very warm and welcoming stay at Andreas place. communication was spot on and was a convenient place to stay for our trip to Sorrento and Capri! We were greeted so warmly and it felt very much like they wanted us there. Can't recommend enough!!

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach fantastisch – von Anfang bis Ende! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen, und wir haben uns sofort rundum wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Die Gastgeberinnen haben mit ihrer offenen, freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Art eine Atmosphäre geschaffen, in der man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlen konnte. Sie waren stets hilfsbereit, aufmerksam und standen uns mit wertvollen Tipps zur Umgebung zur Seite. Man spürte, dass ihnen das Wohl ihrer Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Die Lage der Unterkunft war einfach perfekt für die Erkundungstouren in die Stadt. Die Unterkunft selbst war geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt braucht. Wir haben die Zeit in vollen Zügen genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Für uns war es ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt – wir können es nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Very nice house for 2 families with an amazing view and sunset. It is surrounded by lovely lemon orchards and has a nice pool as well. We really enjoyed our time there!

het is een super mooi appartement. het is ook heel groot, want wij waren op het begin verward met de trappen in het appartement, maar het was een groot en mooi appartement. je hoort wel een beetje de straat, maar daar is makkelijk mee te leven.

My self & 5 friends stayed in Giovanni's apartment, there is lots of space & the wrap around terrace affords great views of Naples. Giovanni's Apartment is a prime location just opposite the Amazing Spanish Quarter. An area where you meet the real people of Naples. There is a supermarket just around the corner & a lovely coffee shop near by. We had a couple of issues during the holiday which were dealt with immediately. Both issues were of an unexpected nature & there was nothing that could have been done before hand. The listing says 2.5 bathrooms, which I thought meant there would be 3 toilets. But there wasn't. I think this was my misunderstanding. I would also say that the beds were very comfortable & I would definitely stay there again.

Marco was a super helpful host! I probably didn’t fully understand the layout, so it was actually 2 apartments for a party of 10, but it actually worked out great for 2 families! Close to train station to get to Naples or Sorrento

This is a beautiful location, peaceful and tranquil. The facilities outside are fantastic. The beds were comfortable and although there is no AC there were fans. We would have liked a parasol available round the pool area but there are ample places to be fine to relax in the shade.

I highly recommend!

We were 7 adults and 3 children spending a week at Claudio’s house. The house is very well suited for a group of this size and could even accommodate a few more persons. The house is in the mountains with fantastic views of the Mediterranean Sea on one side and Mount Vesuvio on the other side. Driving there involves negotiating some narrow roads with steep climbs, but it is worth it. After coming down from the mountain, getting to the Amalfi coast is easy, as is getting to Pompei and Napoli. The house itself is amazing; built into the rocks and with a fabulous design. It is more beautiful than appears from the pictures on the web site. After touring the Amalfi coast during the day, we spent late afternoons enjoying the pool and we had all our meals at the terrace outside the dining room/kitchen. We had a great week, in no small part thanks to this amazing place. Claudio and his wife, were very friendly and helpful. Before and during our stay, they responded quickly to all questions.

We had a fantastic time at Gennaro’s place! The view is spectacular and Gennaro and his wife were wonderful hosts. We highly recommend hiring Gennaro to cook you “Nonna’s” dinner. The experience was the best we had in all of Italy! We also had the full breakfast in the morning which was also fantastic! The drive up is tight and windy so make sure if you are renting a car you rent a very small vehicle. It is not a big deal as Gennaro was there to guide us up and it was fun to drive. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

We had a wonderful week in the Sorrento hills. Delicious restaurant recommendations, beautiful surroundings, afternoon pool sessions in this very quiet and peaceful villa. We enjoyed a 3 generation holiday and this villa had enough space for everyone. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the area.

My friends and I had a great stay here! After a packed tour of different cities in Italy, it was the perfect spot to relax and bask in the sunshine. The view was beautiful! The place was clean and well-kept, Rachele and Franscesco were incredibly friendly. I will say that we found it hard to get to and from the place as there isn’t very much around, but we had no plans but reading and unwinding so this wasn’t an issue for us. Thank you!

Auch wenn die Villa nicht ganz leicht zu erreichen ist (die Straße ist sehr sehr eng und teilweise auch löchrig), lohnt sich der Aufenthalt zu 100%. Die Anlage ist super idyllisch. Man fühlt sich komplett von der Außenwelt abgeschottet. Der Blick vom Poolbereich ist atemberaubend. Wir haben hier sehr viel Zeit verbracht, um einfach zu baden, Aperol zu trinken, zu lesen, zu schlafen oder einfach den unfassbar schönen Sonnenuntergang bei Capri anzuschauen. Der Küchen- und BBQ Bereich bieten genug Platz um Abends gemeinsam zu kochen oder zu grillen. Carmine und Mario sind super hilfsbereit. Einzige kleine Minuspunkte, die wirklich wenig ins Gewicht fallen: - Das Equipment im Gym ist recht alt und auch nicht super vielseitig - Die Anlage wird über Nacht sehr feucht, sodass man das Lüften der Räume und das Trocknen von Kleidung gut zeitlich koordinieren sollte - Das Raumkonzept im Wohnzimmer mit der Couch (die auch schon etwas alt ist), könnte vielleicht nochmal überdacht werden
