The landlord will come to open the door and introduce the house in detail. You can park anywhere in the unmarked parking area. The main street is just down the stairs from the house. It is very convenient. The house is very big. There are two rooms with bathrooms. The roof is high and it is very cool in summer. There is a large terrace with a good view.

Awesome place in the heart of Ortigia. Great location to walk the town and explore, close enough to the Siracusa train station as well. Salvatore was so kind and gave us a bunch of recommendations at check in. Loved our time there.

We had the most beautiful time at this beach house and hope to come again one day! You can hear the sound of the ocean all the time, the interior is cosy and everything you need in the kitchen is there. The communication with Francesco was perfect. It‘s a gem.

If we ever find ourselves in Ortigia again (and I certainly hope we do) I know where we’re staying! Alessandra was a great host and her space is perfect for a couple.

We loved our stay in Ortigia. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and in a great location. We found it difficult to find the apartment when we arrived though as the door was obscured by the market tables and tents and the lockbox didn’t work. Fortunately we were able to contact Aurore who assisted. Otherwise a great stay. Recommended.

Great value apartment in a central location. Allowed us to check in early and Domenica was so so helpful trying to help us locate our son's last suitcase. The roof terrace was a lovely bonus too.

Salvatore made us feel right at home in Ortigia. He reserved a parking garage for us on the island, set us up with a private boat tour company, and provided the best restaurant recommendations - we ended up going back to his first recommendation a second time before we left! He answered all of our questions incredibly quickly, assisted with the remote check in process, and was really committed to making sure we had a wonderful time in Ortigia. I recommend anyone traveling stay in this apartment - it’s beautiful, modern, clean, quiet, and close to amazing restaurants and the water. Even for folks who normally prefer hotels or are new to airbnb, Salvatore is more engaged and proactive than any concierge! Can’t wait to come back.

A truly 5 star airbnb! Location is perfect, a beautiful view of the marina and right next to the beach and sea. The balcony is great for eating and relaxing. The bed was comfortable, shower really good, and the place was very clean. The AC was very good and very needed in the heat. Wifi was good, we didn’t use the TV so cannot comment. The host was very friendly and met us at check in to explain everything. Definitely one of the best airbnbs we have ever stayed in!

We had a great stay in Marina di Ragusa. Kitchen was equipped with the most necessary things, that was fine. The terrace was incredibly great with a fantastic view! Unfortunately, it was a very loud evening, as young people had a party in front of the apartment all night, but Alessandro and the apartment can do nothing about it and maybe that was just an exception, the rest of the nights it was very quiet, but think it is good to know that it can get louder during the school holidays. The beach was also very crowded on Sunday. Then we drove to a neighboring town to the beach, which was also fantastically beautiful.

We would like to thank Paolo for making us have a perfect stay. Paolo is a very kind host, the cleanliness of the accommodation is impeccable. Fantastic 3 weeks at Francesco`s beautiful apartment - superbly located on Isola Ortigia, an absoultely spectacular place. Lively even during winter and a number of sights (Neapolis is a must!). Went to the food market for fish and greens and made dinner at home every other day or so. Otherwise a number of very good restaurants within a 500m radius. Breakfast and lunches on the spectacular terrase, short/t-shirt at least half the days (when in the sun) even during winter. Francesco was very helpful when we needed some minor assistance with heating and dishwasher. The heating system was the best I have every come across in Italy - water heated radiators, not only the usual A/C. All in ll - spotless!

I loved this apartment! it is in a superb location, a block from the ocean and walkable to every site, every store and every restaurant. it was cozy and it was quiet. I would come back here again in an instant! Maria and her partner were very friendly, interested in ensuring I had a great stay, and very accommodating when I asked if I could leave my luggage a bit longer beyond checkout. She couldn't have been kinder in agreeing to this and she even offered to drive me to meet friends rather than have me pull my luggage through the streets. She went above and beyond! Given the spotlessness of the apartment, the amenities, the recommendations, and its proximity to all, this is an absolute gem!!

Just returned from a fantastic stay at Lucia's family home. Communication was fantastic from the start but this continued with a catch up to hand over the keys and a tour of her beautiful family home. There were notes left for swim spots, restaurants, must see activities plus a beautiful handwritten book on the island and some welcome goodies. The house itself was huge, with ample room for two adult children with us. Air con was a welcome with temperatures at mid thirty as was the huge outdoor terrace which was used daily. Th kitchen was well equipped with coffee machine, washing machine, lots of equipment. There were games and yoga mats, swim towels and everything you may need plus a selection of items if you had forgotten anything. We worked our way through most of Lucia's restaurant suggestions, all were fabulous. I swam at least twice a day in the crystal clear water 5 minutes from the house. The bus was easy from the airport and we also took the bus to Nato. Thank you Lucia.

We spent the last days of our vacation at this place and could not be more satisfied. The house perfectly reflected the description of the listing: clean, well cared for, cozy and equipped with all the necessary comforts for a pleasant stay. The location was perfect, with the sea within walking distance and the choice between some equipped beaches or a large free beach. The center is also easily accessible, with many stalls, typical restaurants and play areas for children. Thank you for everything!

Amazing location and incredible hosts. They picked us up from outside Ortigia as the location is in the limited traffic zone which means you’re unable to take your car in. Despite not speaking a lot of English, the host communicated everything we’d need via messages and offered a ton of recommendations for things to see and places to eat. They were incredibly generous and kind leaving us with a stocked fridge, welcome wine and offered extended checkout. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re visiting Ortigia
