Butterfly Croft - Ideal for Lakes and Dales

A lovely presented bungalow in a quiet rural location ideal for families and couples. Perfectly located between the Lake District, and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. Easy road access to the M6 motorway (3 Miles), and Kendal, “the gateway to the Lakes” (5 miles), leading to Windermere (15 miles) just up the road. If you wish you can be on Ingleborough (15 miles) a short drive in the other direction, if you head to the Dales. The entire house gives you, gas central heating throughout, private parking for two cars on the driveway, and a large private garden with patio space, that has table and chairs for your relaxation with a nice glass of wine . The house has a single step entrance into the hallway. Bedroom 1 sleeping 2 people , has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and TV. Bedroom 2 sleeping up to 3 people , has a bunk bed with a pull out mattress if you require the extra bed, and fitted wardrobe. All bedding is supplied. There are also blackout blinds fitted in the bedrooms to ensure you are not up to early on those summer mornings. The bathroom has shower, pedestal sink and a toilet. The living area has modern sofa and chairs to seat the entire family, with TV, DVD and a selection of DVD’s and board games for our families and younger guests. The fully fitted kitchen/diner is fully supplied for all your needs, including fridge freezer, cooker, oven, microwave and washing machine as well as all cutlery, pots and pans. There is a small study/working area, with a printer, you will find a small selection of local guide books, enabling you to plan your days out in the Lakes or Dales. A hoover, iron and high chair are supplied. The area: The Lake District is England’s premier National Park and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We are only 15 miles from Windermere, 4 miles from Kendal and 2 miles from Junction 36 off the M6, so very easy access, you can be fell walking, mountain biking, climbing or kayaking in no time whatsoever. The Yorkshire Dales National park is similar distance so you can be taking the stroll over Ingleborough only 15 miles away. As you enter both Parks you can stop off in either Kendal or Kirkby Lonsdale to take in the cafes, coffee shops or Pubs. Sample the local food delicacies or beers. You can even relax strolling around the shops. As well as road access, there is Oxenholme railway station, 3 miles away on the main west coast rail line. So if you leave London Euston or Glasgow, you could be here within 3 hours. Busses run a few times a day into Kendal or Kirkby Lonsdale, and Taxis are available. Your nearest shop and bakery are in the village about half a mile away. A large supermarket is located in Kendal. There is a local bar in the village half a mile away, with a Pub serving food 2 miles away at Barrows Green towards Kendal, or Crooklands towards the M6. Fuel stations are 2 or 3 miles in either direction also. You can arrive any time after 2pm. There is a key safe at the front door, just in case the host cannot meet you on arrival. The code will be sent to you a week before arrival.
