Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Prince William County

A group of four of us stayed over a weekend for the LIV golf tournament is Gainesville, VA. The house was pretty easy to find and located in a great central area. Directions to the house and check in instruction were clear. The home was clean and everything worked well. It felt like a mix of an old homey cabin with modern features. The overlook of Lake Jackson makes for a peaceful and calm atmosphere. Each morning we enjoyed a cup of coffee while overlooking the lake and listening the wildlife. Even saw a few bald eagles flying over the lake. Overall, our stay was great and Karen was helpful and responsive with any questions/requests we had. 5 out of 5 would stay again.

This was easily one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at! The place was extremely clean and felt very well cared for. The couches were super comfortable, and there was no shortage of entertainment — from the huge TV in the living room to the ping pong table and even the spacious dining area for games or meals. The LED lights gave the whole place a relaxing, ambient vibe that made it feel like home. I also really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the shampoo and soaps provided. Overall, a fantastic experience — would absolutely stay here again!

Kimberley is an amazing host! The Carriage House is in a beautiful location and had all the amenities we needed for us and our two dogs during our 10-day stay. We look forward to our next visit!

Grateful for the chance to stay at her place. She took take of us, we came with our 9 month baby and she even put toys around for her. She provided everything we needed and more (an extra space heater!) Very spacious basement, great view, very quiet. Def will stay there again.

Juan’s place is great find for the price! Super quiet neighborhood! Great airbnb :) He even had toiletries if you need.

This is a home away from home convenient to Quantico, Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. Brenda is very responsive to tenants' needs. If there is a problem today it's gone tomorrow. This place is great for a weekend or for a month. Highly Recommended!!

TODD’S is KING! We have been searching for our new home & have stayed in 2 of their buildings. TODDs’ customer service has been fast, reliable & friendly! TODD’s has made us feel relaxed & welcomed during our visits. Our cat feels at home here, too! He has been anxious in other Abnbs, so it’s a great benefit. Their units are clean & stocked with essentials — like bathroom, laundry & kitchen supplies. The bed is super comfy as is the living room couch. The TV is large & U can stream your favorite channels. They even supply a safe — for your valuables — and an ironing board & iron for that quick press! A big closet, too! We have very much appreciated TODD’S staff for many reasons. They WANT to help & they WANT their guests happy. They went out of their way to help us elongate our stay, when we realized we needed more time! They kindly juggled other reservations to ensure we could stay longer. Such a pleasant surprise & experience! We recommend TODD’s highly!

This place was absolutely perfect, it was clean, had everything you could need and Chris and Danni were very helpful and gave great recommendations on the local area. We used this place as a launching spot to explore DC city and the local history of the Manassas battlefield park. I couldn’t recommend this accomodation to others enough, it was brilliant, spacious and the surrounding environment was lush and filled with local birds and wildlife. Thanks again for having us!

If you are looking for quietand discrete place to stay please consider it. My family had a great experience

It’s a cute little place. I just was not in it long enough to enjoy it because I went for a graduation and was only there for two days. I would probably reserve it again in the near future.

The walk-out basement unit was clean, spacious and suited our needs perfectly for the week stay. One issue was that being a large basement unit with no heating control it was rather cold in mid-April. However, we did find a space heater in the laundry area to warm up the bedroom so we managed. Overall a good ABNB experience and would certainly book again if visiting the area.

My husband has stayed at a few Airbnb’s since January due to traveling for work. Shawn’s place was, BY FAR, the best place he has stayed. The place was spotless when it came to cleanliness. It was well stocked with amenities. Shawn has also been the fastest responsive host my husband has dealt with. He would respond within minutes of us sending him a message. Super friendly and very accommodating. If you are thinking of staying at Shawn’s place I say think no more. You will not be disappointed in your stay.

She was very responsive and helpful. The neighborhood was great, lots of really friendly people, and very close to a lot of different things to do. Only a 10 minute drive from the metro to get into DC. The place is clean and spacious, and appliances are pretty new.

I stayed at Smirna's place with my fiance and sister for a few days and it worked well for three adults. The space was comfortable, well equipped, and very well maintained. Check-in was a breeze. The location is an easy drive from the Dulles airport and has good access to the highway into downtown DC as well as the DC metro and a number of nice suburban communities. The spot was perfect for us and I would recommend it to other travelers.

My daughter will be having a baby soon and have been looking for a place close by for when I visit. This is it!!! It is affordable, clean and decorated beautifully. So relaxing, usually I can't sleep well in hotels but slept well here.

Our stay was perfect! The place was private, clean, and spacious—plenty of room for three people to relax comfortably. It was in a great location, just about a 20-minute drive to the metro station we used daily to get into DC. Everything was easy and convenient, which made our trip even better. We’ll definitely be booking this place again the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!

A wonderful apartment, located at a strategic part of the town. Barely 100 meters from the metro, and access to some of the finest restaurants, offers one a host of opportunities to travel and explore. Liz is a wonderful lady who is ready to offer suggestions and is very accommodating. All in all a fulfilling 6 days.

Great room in a condo, host is friendly and communicative. Room is clean, bed is comfortable. The host’s puppy is well trained, friendly, and playful — including crate-trained if you don’t want to interact with her.
