Een monumentale woning ,1 minuut lopen van de tram en winkelcentrum. Op de beneden etage komt u via een (stijle ) trap (zonder traphek). Hier zijn 3 slaapkamers, 1 badkamer en een separaat toilet. 1 van de slaapkamers ligt aan de tuin. het bed is een twijfelaar. Het karton bed van de foto’s te vervangen voor meer degelijk bed. De andere slaapkamer heeft een 2 personens bed en de andere kamer heeft 2 losse bedden tegen elkaar aan geschoven op de foto maar in de praktijk doe ik ze vaak uit elkaar.

Me and my partner had a great experience at Frans' in Schiedam, the apartment is quiet and has a very cozy vibe. The location is great, with tram and bus stops 4 minutes away on foot it's very easy to move around, and the neighbourhood is very walkable and pretty. Frans is super friendly and helpful, he checked with us regularly to make sure everything was ok throughout our stay. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

We felt very comfortable in this quiet, beautiful place in nature. Underlined by the good service, such as inclusive coffee, bed linen, etc. Bert is a very courteous, likeable landlord with his wife. He was always friendly and also helped us with our car breakdown. You don't get that every day. Ideal for cycling, as there are many bodies of water nearby, and everything was also accessible by bike for shopping. The cherry tree with the swing, the swans that could be observed at any time at their cleaning place, everything was a part of the recreation. We will be happy to come back. Thank you very much for the special week with you. PS: Note on the Smart TV: It would be nice if you could turn on German channels.

Beautiful canal-house near Rotterdam

The house is an historical Dutch house, direct on a canal- absolutely quiet, charming neighborhood with chickens next door and a wonderful bakery right around the corner. The kitchen is on the ground floor, an elegant living- and dining room on the first floor with hardwood floors. Then VERY steep stairs (not for the weak of heart, small children or people with knee problems) going up to the 2nd floor with a big master bedroom and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds (not really good for us, a group of five 68-72 yr old women) and a nice bathroom with plenty of room. The top floor had a „double“ bed, but too narrow for two of us, and a small bath. I think 6 adults would be a tight squeeze in the house unless they‘re all young and cozy with each other. Schidam is a charming suburb of R‘damm, where we never would have gone if we hadn’t booked the house there. All in all, a WONDERFUL house and well worth the extra travel to and from R‘damm.
