What an amazing find! The most gorgeous wrap around balcony views of the Mediterranean and the mountains - what a way to wake up in the morning. The home is very spacious for 6 people and has all necessary equipment and supplies needed. Parking was fairly easy on the small narrow roads so make sure you don’t have a big car. Annalisa was very accommodating and helpful between providing information and making suggestions on where to go locally to enjoy the area. We were very sad to leave- we just loved every moment of this hike and what it had to offer.

There are a lot of villas to search through in Sorrento, but really you should stop your search here. This location was absolutely perfect: views of the ocean, Mt Vesuvius, and the sunset; extremely helpful and kind hosts; beautiful gardens; and amenities to make you feel completely relaxed. Carlo and Emanuela have put so much time and care into making Villa Carolina an absolute pleasure to stay at. Recommend for anyone heading to Sorrento that wants to experience an Italian villa!

First on my review, I wanted to thank Stefano and his unbelievably helpful family in helping us with a very arduous journey from the airport to their beautiful home. If they offer the ride from the airport and back, by all means, take it. The taxis and Uber drivers probably won't be able to get you to the house reliably, as it's deep in Sorrento, right next to the water, and as we found out in Rome and Florence, the ZTL's create extra difficulty getting to your location. Don't leave it to chance and have to walk on cobblestone for a half mile. The house: situated in a quiet area, immediately adjacent to downtown. You can walk just one block and you're at the shops. Amazing food and lemon-themed-EVERYTHING nearby. It is a short, peaceful walk to the docks where you can catch the freshest seafood and boat rides to Capri, Amalfi, Positano, and all the other beautiful towns. We'll be back.
