Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Progreso

Herman’s house on the beach in Chuburna is beautifully designed and thoroughly comfortable. I chose it based on reviews, its unique appearance, privacy and location away from touristy areas. Progreso, however, is 20 minutes away and offers a supermarket, restaurants etc. Having a car is highly recommended for those who want to visit points of interest in the Yucatán, such as the Mayan archeological site at Uxmal, the flamingoes in the Celestun biosphere. and various cenotes - all experiences well worth the drive. The Mayan museum in Mérida is also wonderful to visit. Herman’s onsite list was very good guidance for what not to miss. Thoroughly recommend this house. Linda

Honest review: it's fair to say it was a fantastic stay. Amazing sunsets. The hosts were very responsive both before and during the stay. The place is down a long and narrow dirt road but once you get to the home, it's true paradise. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spread out, and there is plenty of room for parking. This home is truly steps from the Gulf and there's ample patio space. I loved the thatched roof area with the table, which had lights for the evening. Wifi was strong. Things to keep in mind (some of which are out of the owner's control): having a rental car is a must, it's down a long road that is a fair walk from main road. Air conditioning is present in every bedroom, but not the main living space/kitchen, which can get warm in hot weather even with the large ceiling fans. There is not much beach in front of the home, and barely any in neighboring properties - it's not an area where you can go for long walks on the beach. Rent this place for a quiet beach vacation!

The accommodation is very nice, it is a practically new house, very comfortable and with all the amenities.

This place is really wonderful! Amy and Rick are super hosts- responsive and friendly. We felt rapport with them immediately. The house is very clean, well appointed, and comfortable meeting all our needs. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and it is an easy walk to restaurants, the beach and the beautiful malecon. It’s a great place- highly recommend and we hope to return !

Excellent accommodation, super close to the Malecón Internacional, family atmosphere, the apartment super clean, the decor very well cared for, with air conditioning in both parts of the house, the bed is very comfortable. On the other hand Poncho has been an excellent host , he made sure we had the clear instructions, everything flowed wonder . Of course I would happily return to Poncho's place and highly recommend it.

Super clean and very spacious apartment! Has everything you need for a home away from home. Cute pool area and rooftop patio. Responsive host!! I had requested a hair dryer and they delivered it that same day!! Very much appreciated! Also a small convenience store across the street with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as fresh juice everyday! Loved this stay while enjoying Progreso for the first time!

I loved this place, close to the beach, the apartments was very clean and well stocked kitchen, 20-25 min walk to town or quick with Uber , would definitely stay again !

Excellent place to stay, the place was super clean when you arrive, José gives you all kinds of information so you can move to different parts of the city, the bedroom was very comfortable and had all the services available to us, there are also many places nearby to eat and buy things if you want to cook. It's the best choice to stay in this place

This was a lovely little place to stay! Pool was well-maintained and no one was out there until after noon, so we had the whole pool area to ourselves most of the day! Great restaurant/bar across the street with food, drinks, and entertainment. Lots of ex-pats in the area, so easy communication. I would stay here again or would recommend to my friends and family,

This place was wonderful, and I look forward to staying again in the near future! It had everything that we needed, and our host was extremely proactive about anything we had questions about in the area, as well as information related to checking in and checking out, so we could make the most of our stay. She was also able to take care of a few rowdy neighbors who were partying too loud, and that was very nice to experience because not all hosts do that.

Beautiful secluded place great for respite. Very nice family with the parents next door who are wonderful people. Uber is available sometimes it takes 20 minutes to get there so plan accordingly to head into Progresso for restaurants and shopping & groceries.

excellent location, a really beautiful apartment, we spent 8 days for my husband's recovery and it was amazing to 🫢 wake up and see the lake. Wow, that's priceless, an incredibly beautiful view, we could go for a quiet walk. I felt at home and Charito's attention was wonderful, she was always attentive, and when I had any questions she answered quickly, she was very kind and friendly. Rating 11 out of 10. When I return to Merida I will definitely stay here.

We stayed only two days in Mauricio’s place because it was only a short visit in Progreso. The condo is very nice, well furnished and supplied. The neighbours are nice and the place is quiet. There is a nice pool and a rooftop patio with a nice view, shaded area and a nice breeze. There is a convenience store nearby as well as a few nice restaurants with a varied offering of dishes. We recommend this place for a nice stay in Progreso.

We really enjoyed our stay in Puerto Progreso at Alexis' flat. The flat has a stunning view, is spacious and is exactly as advertised. The parking spot dedicated to the flat was very helpful. Interacting with Alexis was very nice and easy. It's a good place to stay at and discover the hidden gem that Puerto Progreso is.
