Holiday rentals with lake access in Provence

A wonderful retreat in a very private location – ideal for switching off. The accommodation is clean, well-maintained and furnished with great attention to detail. We especially liked the very well-equipped kitchen and the outdoor shower with a fantastic view. After a short, somewhat adventurous climb, you reach a hidden, private bathing spot with a spectacular view of the lake – a real highlight. The communication was also exemplary: The landlady was always available, very friendly and responded quickly to our questions. Sitting on the terrace in the evening and watching the sunset over the lake was a little experience every time. Overall, a special place with a lot of charm and an atmosphere that you won't forget in a hurry. We will be happy to come back!

Beautiful surroundings, we found peace in the comfortable home. We enjoyed a lot of privacy, as the owners were not present at the time of our stay. Loïc was a very attentive host who responded quickly and to-the-point to all our questions. Thank you.

Casa Brigasco is now our favorite place in Italy! In a quiet mountain village tucked up against France, the town’s Main Street is a labyrinth of alleyways and tunnels that are fun to explore. During the pandemic, Mateo and his father Bruno converted a storage cellar into a spectacular modern apartment with a patio overlooking the mountain stream with pools where you can swim on a hot day.

We needed to enjoy a moment of calm, to rest for a long weekend of three days. The listing at this address seemed ideal, the comments all unanimous... well... it's even better than we could have hoped. The loft is very comfortable, spacious, beautifully decorated, a rare cleanliness... the best thing is the little touches all around you. The exterior is also very neat, swimming pool, jacuzzi accessible at any time and private, there is everything you need to feel good. Well, we could go on for a long time with the superlatives... breakfasts... meals... massages... but the icing on the cake is the hosts Anne-Lise and Frédéric... whose kindness and discretion complete this perfect and timeless moment. What a beautiful place! Soothing and invigorating, ideal for enjoying nature. When the sun is present, you can just bubble or read in this fantastic park, or play a game of ping pong. You can also walk along the hiking trails that pass right by the house (which is nice and comfortable). And the area is beautiful, sublime panoramas with small villages on their promontory. As for Patrick, he is a very friendly, welcoming and available host. It would be our pleasure to come back:щ-щ)

Very well located accommodation in Embrun, easy to park nearby. Tastefully furnished apartment, under the roofs, nice balcony, all very clean and functional. Highly responsive host on the phone. Impeccable for discovering the region!!!!

Very small but very good accommodation: well-equipped, ideally located in the heart of the village (you leave your luggage there, then you go to one of the parking lots at the top, 10-minute walk back), quiet, comfortable bed, and small private terrace as a bonus; Jean-Claude = amazing host! A few steps from the beach, this small 2-room apartment is perfect for a few days of relaxation and rest. Very clean, well arranged, accessible by transport, with everything you need to be well. The neighborhood is very, very quiet. The front balcony overlooking the sea is great. It's easy to eat there for two, in peace and in the sun ☀️ I recommend this property. Nadia's place is very charming and ideally located in Martigues, both in the city by the canals and for exploring the area. Nadia is a very welcoming host who made recommendations for things to do!

A beautiful and cozy home with large garden that was perfect for 2 people and our dog. Everything was present that was needed such as a dishwasher and washing machine which was super handy. Also a big thank you to our host Gisèle, a super friendly and helpful lady who made sure everything was super in order (including a lovely bed) and we could fully enjoy our holiday. She invited us to her place for a drink the last night and asked if she could improve anything. For us everything was okay and the house is definitely recommended to experience a carefree holiday.

We fully enjoyed a week of tranquility, nature, a swimming pond and beautiful accommodation. Emilie and Fred also gave us many recommendations and tricks and are very welcoming. We also really enjoyed the bike rides in the nearby area. In short, a superb experience that certainly deserves to be repeated. Marleen & Dirk

Excellent rental. We had a lovely stay. I enjoyed the amenities especially the outdoor furniture since we were able to soak up the sun in February in front of a beautiful view. Quiet walk to do in front of the cottage. Very quiet while being close to Gap.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay thanks to Dino & Perrine. They were both there to welcome us and were very generous.. they both sat down with us and kindly talked us through personalised recommendations for us based on what we wanted to get out of our time there. This is the perfect location to unwind and switch off any laptops/phones and social media and thoroughly enjoy the accommodation and surrounding nature. The lake being a short walk, we enjoyed an evening swim every day, lots of water boating activity and some fantastic climbing in Quinson, only a 20 minute drive away. We will hopefully be back again and will be recommending our families. Thanks again Dino & Perrine. As they say on EBay - A+++++ :)

We had a wonderful stay in Yvan's charming farmhouse. The house is inviting, well-equipped and functional – from the kitchen equipment to the appliances, everything worked perfectly. The small terrace and the quite large garden with its fruit trees, which offered a lot of peace and shade, were particularly pleasant. The nights in the house were very quiet, as the neighbor often brings his barking dogs into the house at night. The house is located in a small, idyllic hamlet with 4-6 houses and a farm with sheep. There are flies during the day, but that's part of the rural charm. Particularly gratifying: In mid/late June 2025, we had hardly any mosquitoes. Communication with Yvan was straightforward, fast and friendly - exactly what you want. Thank you very much, Yvan, for the hospitality - we will be happy to come back!

We had a great 2 weeks at Steeve's. I came with my husband and our dog to recharge our batteries and go on beautiful hikes. The house and garden are very well furnished. The pool, jacuzzi, and petanque court were very much appreciated! Steeve was great, very responsive to every message, he even dropped off charcoal so we could have a bbq. We can only recommend it! Thanks to Steeve for his kindness, we'll be back with pleasure!

We had a great week, in a quiet, peaceful, refreshing, beautiful place.... Laura’s place is perfect for a relaxed holiday in the sun. Its location is very quiet and peaceful with lovely gardens and a great pool which we had mostly to ourselves during our 7 day stay. There are lots of places to visit if you have a car. Laura was a great host, she was there if needed but never intrusive of our privacy . Loved it Thank you Laura
