The duplex is in the picturesque area of Old Nice with direct access to the shops on Pairolière Street and the fish market on Place Saint François. ARLES center Charming house w/lovely garden
Located in the heart of the historic district of La Roquette, a former fishing district. Pretty house, typically Arlesian, furnished and decorated in a vintage-chic and contemporary atmosphere. Its big plus: a pretty private garden, planted with flowers and trees, where a large table will allow you to take your meals in the shade of the fig tree or the arbor... The house is very sunny because it is ideally exposed. Completely refurbished, over 150 square meters, and belonging to a couple of collectors, it will seduce lovers of art and design, the furniture are original pieces by architects and decorators of the 20th century and works of contemporary art, photographs, paintings, adorn the walls. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and you are close to all shops and tourist sites... It is a lively area, bakeries (3), food (+), shops, bars, terraces, restaurants (++)... excellent!, with one of the most beautiful markets in Provence right next door every Saturday! Everything can be visited on foot from the house! La Roquette is truly "the place to be" in Arles!!! Ground floor: Entrance, living room, dining room overlooking the garden and large fully-equipped kitchen (stove, dishwasher, wine cellar, fridge-freezer etc.). In winter, a wood stove makes it possible to make a good fire in the lounge area. Second floor: a library with office (internet connection throughout the house), 1 bathroom with walk-in shower and 2 pleasant bedrooms, one with balcony-terrace overlooking the garden on the sunrise side. On the second floor: a TV area (with channels...), 1 bathroom with large bathtub and 2 beautiful spacious bedrooms. We chose to keep the old floors in their original condition. As we are committed to sustainable development, our rooms are equipped with slatted beds, mattresses, pillows and cushions made from natural and renewable components in bamboo, soy, wool linen and natural latex (rubber tree sap), and all bed and bath linen is organic cotton. The paints are water-based and maintenance is carried out as far as possible with black soap, white stone, white vinegar of beeswax, in order to respect our environment. Finally: many large parking lots (€1/h or €10/full day) are 100 m from the house. Find all the Arlesian soul in La Roquette, a popular and lively area during the day, but very quiet at night. In a few minutes' walk, you can reach the Place du Forum and the various museums, as well as the arenas and the amphitheater. The house is accessible by car, as there is not much traffic you can drop off your luggage quietly and then park nearby as large public parking lots are located 70 m away...

From the sound of the church bells marking the hour to taking a stroll to the bakery for fresh croissants at breakfast time, soak up village life. We recommend having your own vehicle (car, motorcycle or bicycle) to take full advantage of the place and its surroundings Chateauneuf-du-Pape is a classic Provençal village where one of France's best wines is produced. From the sound of the church bells marking the hour to taking a stroll to the bakery for fresh croissants at breakfast time, soak up village life. The house provides a great base to explore the greater region and places like Avignon, Arles, the Luberon, Mount Ventoux, etc.
