House holiday rentals in Province of Como

The house is very nice with a great lake view. Spacious and clean, with a beautiful garden and pool. Location is very quiet and you need to drive to the more touristy places in Como but we definitely liked that!

We had a wonderful stay with our family of 8 at the Villa. We were prepared for the little walk through the village to access the villa having watched the video that was in the villa manual that was provided in advance of our stay. The villa itself is immaculate and well equipped. We found the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms to be ideal for 4 couples. The bedrooms had breathtaking views of Lake Como and the outside sitting areas were very private and also had great views. The pool was clean and easy to access providing a welcome cool down during hotter days. Maximillian was always available on WhatApp to answer any questions. The village itself is small and quaint - we had a nice rustic meal at the local restaurant and the owners were very hospitable. From the villa we drove down the hill to Menaggio where we got a ferry to explore the region. We hired two cars at Linate Airport & were able to explore easily. First of all the location is amazing, the property was great, swimming pool and view was unreal, looking over the whole lake and all mountains. Fabio and Marta were such amazing hosts went out their way to help us get to the air bnb location, provided us with any need outside of regular requests, answered the calls and texts at all times and were super friendly and helpful from the beginning till the end, Thank you for making this an amazing visit we will make sure to come back. We had an amazing stay at Christian's house. The property is wonderful - modern, clean and spacious inside and the outside space is as good as it looks on the photos. We spent hours relaxing in the garden area. Christian had also thought of extra details to make the stay even more welcoming, like a hamper of local foods on arrival and care packages in the bedrooms. His communication was fantastic as well, very quick to respond and nothing was too much trouble - he booked us a shuttle back to the airport and even offered to pick us up when we arrived due to a train strike. All in all a brilliant stay and would recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing host and a breathtaking view. Too bad we couldn't use the pool due to cold windy weather but had an amazing time with family and kids. with only 10 min drive to local attractions and ferry. I would highly recommend this Michele and his property.

Beautiful surroundings and well-worth the walk into town (there’s a very easy/safe path from this property into town - just expect to get some good exercise walking back up).

We had a wonderful stay at Elena’s place in Lake Como! The view was absolutely breathtaking – even better than we expected – and the peaceful location made it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The neighborhood felt very safe, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. The home was exactly as pictured: clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything we needed was there, and Elena was incredibly responsive and helpful any time we had a question. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in one of the most beautiful parts of Italy. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful staying and absolutely dog friendly to. Waterfalls and natural swimming pools on 10 minutes walk from the house. It was amazing. Only the walk from the car with the stuff was not easy in the beginning, but for the stay itself was very good! The lookout from the apartment was breathtaking! Very romantic.

Giulio’s home is a perfect and comfortable home with all amenities available. The location was too quiet for our liking with not much activity around the area especially restaurants patisserie’s etc . Also make sure you purchase all your groceries before checking in as there’s no local supermarket nearby. Fortunately we hired a car so we drive to the local Aldi 15 min drive away for supplies. Roads are narrow so small car highly recommended ( generally much of the area around the lake is the same) Giulio himself as a host is friendly and very responsive and accommodating ( let us check in early on the day) He is always available to assist wherever he can. Great place to chill out and relax at night after a busy day round the lake! Highly recommended !

For us, Casa Berta was the perfect accommodation! We spent one day each in Bellagio and Como - and were very happy to leave the crowds (late May!) behind us and live in such a quiet, charming mountain village. We imagined the road up to be worse from the reviews - thank God there is not much traffic up here. Nevertheless, we preferred the bus, which actually always ran reliably (except on Sundays, when it generally does not run). The Casa itself is really adorable. Everything as in the photos. Very comfortable bed and head cushion. Also the shower with good water pressure (normally I don't like shower curtains, but the shower is large enough that the curtain, which is not made of plastic, does not stick to the body). The terrace is also great, we spent a lot of time here. It would be perfect if there was also reception on the terrace, for example, to stream music or plan the next day.

The apartment is very nice with an amazing view! Antonio was super nice and it was easy to communicate with him. Check-in and check-out were flexible and easy. We would definitely recommend!

Amazing house! Peaceful and perfect place to retreat and take a break from a long vacation. Very clean and feels like an hotel, host was very welcoming and left us some food and water when we arrived. Would not recommend if you don't plan to get a car or have a car to go up to the house, unless you are very motivated to go up steep stairs for 20 minutes. Ferry easily accessible as soon as you get down, some good restaurants next to it.

Fausta our hostess went above and beyond for us! She firstly kindly offered to pick us up from the ferry port in Menaggio which we accepted with open arms as this was our first time in Italy and we had no idea where we were going! During the car ride to the Air BnB she pointed out the place we get the bus back to town, were we can get groceries and even the best places to try some locals Italian food and wine (she also gave us a 10 percent coupon for the places) to top everything off she already had a bottle of wine waiting in the fridge for when we arrived! We have honestly had the best time staying here the home is beautiful with the most amazing views, Fausta helped us get used to the local culture and navigate around the towns very quickly! However if we did struggle the local people are lovely.. We really hope we can come back and stay again

Innocenta and Fabio’s sparkling, spacious apartment was the perfect base for a wonderful stay in Varenna on Lake Como. The apartment itself is beautiful with everything we needed - a great bathroom, abundance of towels, shampoo etc and a well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable bed. Everything was spotless and the attention to detail was amazing. Innocenta and Fabio provided a lot of food and snacks and a delicious apperitivo and nibbles to welcome us. The apartment has a garden for the use of guests with lovely outdoor furniture and a panoramic view of Lake Como. To make this place even more wonderful, Innocenta and Fabio made such an effort to help and advise us - their friendly hospitality added so much value to our experience. Thank you for your kindness and for making our stay so memorable.

Our stay at Teo’s house was nothing short of wonderful! Communication was great and the home is absolutely gorgeous. There are views of the lake in every room, and the space fit our family of 5 (4 adults, one child) with more than enough room. It is worth nothing that without a car, getting around can be quite tricky due to the amount of steep stairs near the property. However, the bus stop to Como and Milan was conveniently located less than a 10 minute walk away. This beautiful home has everything you need, including responsive hosts. Our stay was quiet, peaceful & amazing. We'd LOVE to come back!

The accommodation was incredibly good! The equipment was particularly above average. The house corresponded to our ideas and the pictures. The driveway to the house was really very steep, so you should be careful which cars you arrive with. Communication with the landlord was also excellent. Very friendly and quick feedback. We would come back back.

O. M. G. Andrea was the best host! When you think “host with the most” that’s him. He was the most responsive, kind, generous and amazing host we have ever encountered. The place was GORGEOUS. With the most wonderful view and right down the road was a perfect “beach” where we ate at a few times and spent the day to soak up the sun and water. He checked in on us every morning and evening making sure we didn’t need anything and offered the most generous things. We can’t wait to come back and visit Andrea and his beautiful home again. 10/10 recommend (even though this place is so perfect, part of me wants to gate-keep it 😉) BOOK THIS PLACE! Literal perfection.

Great apartment above Menaggio. The view from the terrace of Lake Como and the mountains is fantastic. The apartment is very cozy and well equipped and is located in a very quiet environment. The center of Menaggio is within walking distance, and there are good hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. Georgia Louise responded immediately to inquiries and was very helpful. This place is highly recommended!
