Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Province of Novara

Between August 12 and 16, I stayed at Emanuele's house in Agrano, a quiet and picturesque village with a splendid view and kind people. It also houses "La Morta di Agrano", a well-preserved mummy from 1792, which is said to grant favors and strolls among tourists. I spoke with her myself, even though her Italian was a bit old-fashioned. The house is comfortable and welcoming; at night it is advisable to sleep with the windows open to enjoy the air and the sounds of the countryside, but it is useful to bring a mask for the morning light. It was an excellent stay in one of the most fascinating regions of the most beautiful country in the world. Thank you, Emanuele. PS: Maybe part of the story isn't true. Or maybe it is.

Great! Easy to find and very clean.

We had a great stay at Julia's apartment and felt very well looked after by our hosts, who were helpful, responsive and flexible. They organised taxis for us and came up with a great solution for our suitcases on the last day. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped and very well positioned by the main square. There are indeed a lot of steps to climb, but we found them manageable and were rewarded by lovely views across the lake. We were given very good recommendations of places to eat and drink by the hosts and we were not disappointed! Many thanks to Alice and her team!

It is a steep hill, but time has stood still here... a gate, a courtyard, ceiling paintings, and the decor is charmingly Italian. Rest, a terrace, beautiful piece of grass with some trees, view of the lake, and for entertainment you drive to Omegna or Pella or another village nearby.

Anna and Marco were lovely hosts. Super responsive, especially because we needed a last minute booking, coming from Torino. They also upgraded us the room, for a bigger room, since it was empty, and they charged us the same rate as the room we selected. we had a super lovely two days, slept like kings! the beds were comfortable and everything was so easy and convenient. The view was amazing and it was such a treat to wake up in the morning to see the lake! in the evening, with glass of wine on the balcony, and the lake in the evening light. it is such a great joy to be able to relax and enjoy such an amazing location. Marco and Anna have a restaurant downstairs where they granted us 10% discount, and we were delighted with their local artisanal delicatessen products and wonderful service, and very knowledgeable staff So muh so, that we want to go back for my husband's birthday, next year. We had a very relaxing holiday in this quiet apartment. We had everything we needed to cook, the bed was comfortable, the shower was good and the water always hot. The apartment was cosy. it was our first visit to the area and we loved it. We would stay here again. Great parking for our car too.

We were very happy with our stay at the villa. Chiara stood and greeted us and welcomed us. She went through the house with us and made us feel at home. Next, she sent the local bus schedule, the closest place to shop and she helped us with a taxi. Generally just a really nice experience in a very charming villa.

I had a lovely month at Roberta's apartment. It is strategically located: I was able to discover Lake Maggiore but also the lakes of Mergozzo, Orta, Varese ( track around), Comabbio(tower), Monate, Locarno, Como. There are various historic villas not far away and others, more famous, a little further away. The two gardens of the apartment (east and west) are very pleasant: their greenery is very relaxing. The park in which the apartment is located serves as a buffer zone between the city where there is incessant traffic and you. It's worth going around to admire the huge trees. The apartment is equipped with everything you need on a daily basis. The two parking spots side by side avoid maneuvering. Roberta is available and always ready to help. She even found me a great dog sitter. There is a loop( 3 km) to do on foot from the apartment(2/3 in the woods). Pretty spiaggia Guree Monvalle 7 mins away

Bolzano N. was a great base for exploring the region of the lakes. Very friendly welcome by Cristiana's parents. They were very helpful and at the same time very discreet.

We had a great stay at the house. It felt like what AirBnB was originally meant for - staying in a lived-in actual house instead of a sanitised holiday home. It is well equipped inside and out and you won’t stay in a better location. It is right on the lake for swimming and water sports, but also a short easy walk into town.

What to say, the farmhouse has been restored with attention to all details, tastefully furnished and accessible even to guests with mobility difficulties... it has a super well-equipped kitchen, clean and cozy... fireplaces and Christmas decorations have made the environment really warm. I highly recommend

Mates house is one of a kind. It is very beautiful, and very old, which has its pros and cons. With no “normal” heating but ovens, which was new for us. Since the house is old, the windows and doors do not close properly and the house can get cold and then you’ll need them! But when you’ll manage it, it is very cozy. One bathroom is well restored and has the most beautiful view of the mountains. The other bathroom is ok. The garden and the house from the outside are so beautiful. We spent a lot of time in the garden which was so so nice. The hosts were really kind and they helped us with everything we needed. They recommended places to go and went out of their way to make us happy, they were really amazing! All in all we had a great time in Mate’s house! Thank you Mate!

The location of the house was great. Only a 5 minute drive to amenities and very well placed for exploring that part of Piedmont. The house was well equipped and had plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 young children. The gardens were beautiful with an amazing view of the lake. It's a quiet and safe neighbourhood and although there is a train line close by it didn't disturb us. Giorgio was a fantastic host and we would highly recommend the house and hope to return one day.

1000% recommended. The apartment is spacious, clean and super cozy. Nice beds and comfortable bathroom. The estate is breathtaking, we have even seen fireflies! Nearby, there is plenty to do! Restaurant Particolare Travedone is highly recommended, less than a 5-minute walk and delicious food and cocktails for a very reasonable price! Also Altrelago is a beautiful place for breakfast, lunch or apperetivo (5min walk). Furthermore, there is also a 10 - 20 minute drive to do! This apartment is also highly recommended for anyone who wants to go on vacation with their dog. The apartment has a fenced private backyard and the rest of the estate is beautiful for walking with your dog. The many trees provide plenty of shade on hot days. Thank you Louisa for taking care of this fantastic holiday, we will definitely be back!

Thank you to Elisa and her family for the warm welcome. A small nod to breakfast on the terrace overlooking Lake Orta. And if you're lucky, you'll even get fresh eggs from the hens. Cozy, clean and equipped with everything you may need. The area is fantastic, in the heart of Angera, a stone's throw from the lakefront. Filippo welcomed us in person and was also very kind in recommending the restaurants to go to. The lack of wifi was not a problem since our stay was short. I would definitely go back!

Beautiful and complete apartment with a spacious roof terrace in the middle of the old center of Omegna. Cozy decor. Cami was very quick and attentive in responding, thinking along and super in giving good tips. Highly recommended!
