Renovated Walzer house 15 mins by car from Alagna

Our chalet is a renovated "Walzer" style barn. We are a Belgian family with 3 children and a dog and love this remote quiet place in the Valsesia valley. We enjoy hiking in the mountains or just walking in the valley or swimming in the river that passes by on the back of our house. We love skiing in the nearby "Monte Rosa" or "Alpe di Mera" Ski domains (15 or 10 minutes respectively by car) and enjoy cooking with local produce savoring local wines (Gattinara, Ghemme, Barbaresco, Barolo, ...)

An ancient barn from 1551, an expression of the rural tradition of upper Valsesia, is transformed into a low-emission building, heated only in a renewable, environmentally friendly way. Holiday home Al Pinone is located in the mountains of Crevoladossola, an ancient rural village. The house is reached on foot via a mule track with about 50 steps and is not suitable for guests with mobility issues. Furnished in rustic style at 400 m above sea level, it offers a living room, equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom for up to 6 guests. Included amenities: Wi-Fi, fireplace, TV, and washing machine. Cot and high chair are available on request.

"The Cabin at the Fountain"

"La baita alla fontana" is a small house but equipped with every comfort that will make you feel immediately at ease. It is heated by a wood-burning fireplace and convectors. The wooden staircase leads to the bedroom on the upper floor. The furnishings are completed by an old walnut table, straw chairs and a sofa. From the living room you can access the kitchen and bathroom. In the room, there is a double bunk bed below and a single bed above.

Just a 15-minute walk from the road, beyond the woods, you will find a small barn renovated entirely in keeping with tradition and using materials of the past.
