Der Rauchenbichlerhof ist ein imposantes denkmalgeschütztes Schlössl, mit eigenem Barockgarten, welches erstmals im Jahre 1120 namentlich erwähnt wurde und in welchem 1831 die frühere Geliebte des französischen Kaisers Napoléon I. lebte.

Puch bei Hallein ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für einen Trip in die Stadt Salzburg, das Salzburger Seengebiet und die Berge im Salzburger Land für Wanderungen und im Winter zum Skifahren. Hinter dem Haus kann man auch direkt in den Wald und die lokalen Berge wie Almerberg, Mühlstein und Eberstein starten.
