We are pleased and honored to renovate and live in this valuable building, the former Pudasjärvi municipal hall. We want to offer guests the opportunity to stay in an apartment in a log house built in 1936 on the shore of Iijoki. The apartment has its own kitchen and toilet-bathroom. You can explore the Iijoki estuary and its islands by renting a safe, air-filled kayak with equipment from us. Electric bicycles can also be rented. The personal yard sauna heats up according to your wishes. Warm welcome!

With pets to a lakeside cabin to the Northeast

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!

There is a beautiful beach route for jogging on the beach and there are many swimming spots. There is a children's play area nearby. Downtown shops and other services are about 1.5 km away. Oulu is about 90 km away, Kuusamo 130 km, Rovaniemi 150 km and Feed about 50 km. Oulu Airport is about 100 km away.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Cottage completed at the end of 2023 on the Rahkasarantie. Peaceful but central location. Pass tracks and bike trails leave almost at the door. About 800m to the ski slope. The cottage is equipped with an electric grill and a garden hose for washing the wheels in the summer.
