Thanks Katja, we had an amazing two days in Ranua. The house is very functional, accessible. Getting up in the morning and having lunch in front of the window with the impression of being in the heart of the forest, what a pleasure! The location is superb. Thank you again for the campfire, for taking the time to try to communicate with our children, and for the attention you gave them. I highly recommend it!

Liisa was a wonderful host, very communicative and super helpful with all the information. We chose this place as it was accessible without a car. We took a local bus from Oulu and the place was within 20mins walking distance from the nearest bus stop, which also had a supermarket right next to it! So I’d recommend those who need to use public transportation. The place was lovely, the dip in the river after sauna was super refreshing :) Totally totally recommend!

My friend and I stayed at Syötte's place during the NUTS competition and our visit was really successful. Everything worked fine and the place fully met our expectations :) My own leg could have been a degree faster, but it can't be blamed on the accommodation… :D

It's a wonderfully peaceful place, but close to the services. This place can accommodate even more demanding tastes , equipment level, GREAT❤️

Highly recommend this place! It was a very cosy house on the countryside with all the utilises you may need; sauna, outside fireplace, bbq, several fireplaces close to path for cross-country skis and much more! We’ll be back for sure!

Perfect place if you want to stay close to Rovaniemi. The house is neat, spacious, and has all the amenities you'll need. Matti is really helpful in identifying local roads and attractions, do ask him about those.

Great stay at a beautiful spot on top of the mountain (fell). Close walking distance to slopes and ski paths. A plus was the close by hotel where the closest restaurant can be found.

I had such a great stay. The cabin was very cozy and it is located in the middle of a winter wonderland. Great hiking trails and skiing lopes are easy to reach. The cabin has all you need and the built-in sauna is fantastic. I can definitely recommend a stay!! Thank you!

The place exceeded expectations! Unique, beautiful environment. The cottage is really well equipped, cooking was easy in the open fireplace and with gas. The sauna was atmospheric, the steam was great. Communication with Alex is smooth. A warm recommendation for this place, if you want to rest, this is the place!

Lovely house for a group of people.

The stay was a great fit for our purposes. An air source heat pump and underfloor heating made it easy to heat. In the kitchen, we prepared what we had planned. The host provided sheets and towels. The cleaning supplies were a little primitive, but we were able to clean it up. It was easy to get to the ski track. Peaceful surroundings.

Those who want their peace are absolutely in the right place! A super nice and well-kept accommodation with its own sauna directly on a lake. There are two other small cabins in the immediate vicinity, but you still feel undisturbed. On our arrival, Juho explained everything to us, which is why the stay went smoothly overall. Would book this place again and can absolutely recommend it! It is only important that there is no running water and no shower. However, you can pump the water yourself at a well yourself and heat it in the sauna. We really enjoyed it very much!

Tero was an amazing host and arranged a horseback ride for us—even in the -23* weather! The house is amazingly historic and perfect—would highly recommend to anyone visiting Ranua.

The two hosts are extremely kind and make you feel at home. The cottage is stocked with everything you might need. The sauna is an extraordinary plus, equipped with everything. The place is enchanting, in absolute peace, with a breathtaking view perfect for observing the aurora.
