Cabin holiday rentals in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca

All staff and accommodations and Samasati Rainforest Bungalows were very polite, professional, and attentive. They were extremely communicative and excellent hosts. The resort stands on it's own on top of a mountain overlooking the rainforest and Puerto Viejo below. The restaurant on site was very convenient as well as the 24 hour access to the pool and jacuzzi. To those looking at booking here, do know that this is spot is deep in nature. You will encounter all kinds of wildlife from frogs, snakes, spiders, guatusa, birds, monkeys, and more. If that isn't your thing, look elsewhere. We absolutely loved being away from the busy town and beaches so this was perfect for us. Falling asleep to rain hitting the roof in the dense forest will be a cherished memory.🥰 Muchas gracias, Samasati and pura vida!

Hospedarnos en Samasati Rainforest Bungalows fue una experiencia inolvidable para nuestra familia. Desde el primer momento, sentimos una calidez humana que superó nuestras expectativas. La atención fue simplemente maravillosa: siempre amables, respetuosos, atentos y dispuestos a ayudarnos con todo lo que necesitábamos, incluso más allá de lo que podríamos haber imaginado. El lugar es un verdadero paraíso. Rodeados de naturaleza, con vistas espectaculares, paz, tranquilidad y una limpieza impecable, nos sentimos en armonía total. Las instalaciones están muy bien cuidadas y cada rincón transmite amor. La comida, deliciosa y preparada con dedicación, fue otro de los grandes placeres del viaje. Queremos destacar el excelente equipo de trabajo, un grupo de personas amorosas, serviciales, dedicadas y realmente especiales. Su atención fue de otro nivel. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa, y es imposible no llevarlos en el corazón. Volveremos, no solo porque lo prometimos, sino porque nos 💕

Estuvimos durante tres noches y es un lugar encantador. Realmente estás solo con la selva y su maravilloso silencio y sonidos naturales. La anfitriona es amigable, proactiva, se comunica con claridad y busca resolver siempre. Pasamos una estancia muy tranquila y relajante. Definitivamente regresaríamos.

It was an amazing experience, all what I was expected and even above and beyond. Also specially with the personnel working in the facilities, it was great to find out you are not just a guest but you can feel like home because of that human touch. Thank you very much everyone who was involved during my stayed, you really made my trip a 5 stars experience.

Omar is a wonderful person. Super knowledgeable of all the nature, marine life, plants and trees. The most welcoming and warm person you could meet. I felt so safe staying with Omar. What a special person! He’s the guy to stay with if you visit manzanillo. His home is really beautiful, full of the best nature Costa Rica can offer. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. I can’t recommended his place enough. Thankyou for a beautiful stay Omar!

Fue una estadía muy acogedora, está bien equipada con utensilios de cocina , nos gustó mucho que está completamente cerrado esto nos dio tranquilidad ya que íbamos con dos perros. La ubicación es algo alejada pero fácil acceso para carros bajos y muy tranquilo.

Beau petit chalet avec l’essentiel. La climatisation était bienvenue dans la chambre ainsi que les moustiquaires dans les fenêtres. Le lieu est privé et bien sécurisé, avec lumières s’activant au mouvement. La terrasse avec hamac est agréable. Pour ceux et celles qui comptent se déplacer à bicyclette, le chemin sur lequel se trouve la cabaña n’est pas pavé et il y a des côtes et des grosses pierres. Avec un vélo de montagne c’était plus facile que les vélos cruiser de ville mais le trajet est tout de même exigeant surtout à 32 Celsius. Si vous êtes en voiture, ce serait plus facile bien sûr. Notre séjour fut tout de même très agréable.

El lugar es idéntico a las fotografías, espacioso, lindo y muy cómodo. Tiene una buena ubicación y en general todo estuvo muy bien, el anfitrión fue muy amable en las dudas o preguntas que tuvimos, 100% recomendado🙌🏼

Amazing stay! Local soda on the same street and grocery stores only a 15 min walk yet feels so relaxed and secluded :) Open air cabina was comfortable & cozy! Host was friendly and responsive as well! Would stay again!

Die Lage des Airbnb ist toll, wenn man an einem ruhigen Ort sein möchte (in Punta Uva ist wenig los). Die Wohnung befindet sich direkt am Strand (über die Straße). Es gibt wenige Nachbarn, die nicht immer da sind, alles sind Airbnbs. Wir fanden das Apartment sauber, geräumig, es war alles da, was wir gebraucht haben. Die Kommunikation war toll, die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und nett, haben schnell reagiert. Wir würden nochmal kommen!

Pablo fue muy atento, el lugar es demasiado tranquilo , es muy limpio, el lugar es bastante lindo. Definitivamente vamos a volver, nos encantó

Excelente zona, sin duda volvería a hospedarme ahí la próxima vez que vaya con mi familia a Limón. El hospedaje está en un barrio tranquilo, es privado y tiene muchas áreas verdes, se pueden observar bastante tipos de animalitos desde ahí. La calle que lleva al hospedaje no es asfaltada pero cualquier vehículo puede ingresar

un excelente lugar para pasar las vacaciones muy tranquilo y confortable las instalaciones muy bonitas y aseadas super recomendado sus anfitriones muy atentos la pasamos genial

Lou es un anfitrión excelente!! Atento, responde todas las inquietudes, te orienta. El alojamiento es tal cual las fotos!!!! cerca del centro, el colectivo pasa a unos 400 metros. Es un barrio seguro, tranquilo. Hermoso todo!!!

Great place and close to the ocean

We had a great time at Casa Mona, it was an interesting and fun place to stay at. Both Mona and Dixon were great in communicating with us and really went out of their way to make sure we were doing fine. We had lots of privacy and enjoyed all the rainforest sounds that we could hear at night. We would definitely consider coming back again!

Mein Bruder und ich waren zwei Nächte in der Blockhütte und haben uns richtig wohlgefühlt! Der Ausblick von der Terrasse war traumhaft – wir konnten Tukane und sogar Affen beobachten 🐒 Alles super naturnah, aber trotzdem gut geschützt dank Insektenschutznetzen überall. Die Ausstattung war top, es war alles da, was wir gebraucht haben. Ich habe viel Zeit auf der Terrasse verbracht, Kaffee getrunken und gelesen – einfach herrlich ☕️ 📖 🌿. Die Auffahrt war ein bisschen abenteuerlich, aber mit unserem Allrad-Fahrzeug machbar.🚘 Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern hat super geklappt. Klare Empfehlung – 5 Sterne ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Valio cada segundo estar alojados con Esteban, muy amigable , con buenos consejos sobre la zona, es un lugar sumamente privado y de facil acceso. ( hasta con un sedan podrian ingresar ). Tiene todo lo que ud necesitaria para cocinar y pasar varios dias.

If you're looking for a true nature experience, don't look any further. This is an amazing place to experience the jungle. You'll have a basic cabin with all the amenities you'll need. Just listen to the sounds of the bush or sit in front of the cabin with a drink and watch the wildlife in front of you. There is a toucan-nest, agoutis, all sorts of insects, monkeys and more. Mike is there to help you if needed or to have a chat with. Highly recommended!

Super petit chalet en bois, plus charmant que sur les photos ! Il est plus grand que ce que l’on croyait, les lits sont de bonne qualité, et l’environnement est exceptionnel : la plage très calme est à 2 minutes à pieds et nous pouvons observer une faune très riche depuis le salon (toucans, agoutis…). Super Negro (= supermarché grand et de qualité) à quelques minutes en voiture. Nous aurions aimé y rester plus longtemps, c’est un vrai havre de paix ☮️
