Holiday rentals with beach access in Purbeck District

We didn’t stay long enough to really appreciate the lovely little apartment for what it was, but for the night we stayed it was very homely. Barbara was a superb host and checked us in with flexibility. The house was very clean and had inviting decor. The small kitchen equipped with welcoming biscuits, milk and coffee whilst the rest of the apartment was more than enough space for our family of 3. Our daughter loved the child themed bedroom and took great joy in rummaging through the selection of toys and books. Great nights stay and extra thanks to Barbara for tending to our extra needs! Would recommend to any small family’s looking for a hub in the Poole area.

Great location, lots of lovely little touches which really made me feel welcome. Loved the monkey curtain holder in the bedroom! I’d definitely use again.

Just back from a wonderful stay at Terrys beachside studios apartment we had the most amazing few days,being so close to the beach was wonderful the views were breathtaking.Thank you Terry we will definitely be back.

Craig's place was just as lovely as the images. Craig was proactive and accommodating too. All in all, I would rate it a 5-star experience and would come back again! One thing that stood out for me was that the supplies Craig had were what you would actually use at your own home. It's the small things that I tend to carry but did not need to bring - like my own handwash or toilet roll. Everything Craig stocked, was good quality. He even had 2 working fans in both the rooms. Loved the experience inside the house. The place was a walking distance from the beach, yet, close to the high street (but secluded enough). So, loved the experience outside the house too. I visited with my husband and elderly parents, so the staircase and the single beds were a little inconvenient for us, but honestly, the place is lovely for a young family.

Our son and partner stayed, they loved it. A delightful flat, so fresh and clean. Lovely views and such interesting artefacts dotted around. Very peaceful too. Mt husband and I are hoping to stay later in the year. Highly recommend it.

Well worth the cost. It was a really spacious place for 2 people. The kitchen had all the amenities you'd need plus more, it was a nice sized bedroom with a comfy bed and the bathroom was light and airy. It was a literal few minutes walk from the local pubs, restaurants and what looked like the busiest Fish and Chip shop in the area. There is also a supermarket a minutes walk away. The walk to Bournemouth town centre is a leisurely 20-30 minutes away

We enjoyed our stay at Lucy's house. The house is spacious and clean, and is well located with lots of shops and amenities close by. Communication from Lucy was excellent throughout and she was most helpful at all times.

Caroline was most welcoming and hospitable. Her place was beautifully styled and immaculate, comfortable and more spacious than I thought it would be. Parking was also available close by. It was peaceful and only a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants and 15 minutes to the beach. Thank you so much.

The house is in a great location and neighborhood, beautiful views of the sea with the beach a 5 minute walk, there is even a lift down to the beach if needed. House was well equipped, very clean with clear instructions. Lots to do with great walks and shops nearby. Would highly recommend for a relaxing time in a very comfortable house with a great location!

We are home after a Mon- Fri half term break at Admiral’s Watch, and we have had a wonderful time. Before we arrived we had clear directions from Nicky along with a really helpful list of recommendations for places to go with the kids. Getting to the property was easy and it was great to have a dedicated parking spot. The area is peaceful and completely beautiful. The small precinct of shops/ restaurants within the terrace was useful and didn’t intrude on our stay at all. The property itself is beautiful and just like the photos- the sea is right in front of the apartment making the views amazing. Nicky has styled the property beautifully and there was plenty of space for us as a family of four plus our dog. Activity wise I would recommend a trip to nearby Hurst Castle, and a meal at the Cliff House restaurant which was a short stroll away. Totally recommended, we had a great stay. What a wonderful house. Felt really at home, very well equipped and comfortable, lovely and clean. It's in an excellent position so close to the town centre and beach and yet as it is on a footpath rather than the road is so peaceful. Thanks so much Anne for a most relaxing stay.

Amazing place! Perfect location for a family holiday. The house has absolutely everything you need and more. We really enjoyed sea kayaking and paddle boarding with all Daves's kit. The sea is so close you can carry everything down to the shore. We really loved the hot tub and sauna and bbq area. The games room was a great space for the kids to hang out and play as well as the adults. We couldn't have wanted more. We'd wholeheartedly recommend this amazing house.

Three of us and the dog stayed at David’s cottage and we had a wonderful time. The place was spotless when we entered, it was everything we needed. David was very communicative and helpful. We spent a lot of time in the garden as luckily the weather was in our favour and it was fenced in so the dog could run around with furniture for us to use. The cottage is in a perfect location, off of the main road so it was quiet and peaceful and just down the road from the sandbanks which we visited frequently. I highly recommend anyone interested in staying here I haven’t got a single fault! :)

Within easy walking distance of everything in Poole. Very clean. Welcome pack was very welcome after a long drive and the pastries went down very well. An excellent base for visiting Poole and we would happily book again. Thanks Sue and David.

I had a great stay in Rebecca’s flat. It’s clean and tidy and well stocked with all you could need for short and longer stays and with some lovely, complimentary goodies. The flat has its own dedicated parking space and the location offers easy access to local shops, cafes and restaurants and is within good access to the beach. Rebecca was flexible in amending my stay duration which I appreciated, thank you.

Very sweet little cottage, beautifully decorated with everything you would need inside of it. Great location, with a nice pub down the road. We would definitely stay here again and recommend for all. The only downside is that it is situated on a busy road so at night you can sometimes hear the cars, but we didn’t mind.

Chris' apartment was a great find. We stayed for a month and booked after our previous arrangements were cancelled. we are delighted with the apartment and the location. The place was clean and bright, very comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It was also beautifully decorated, with lovely touches, great guidebooks and some nice breakfast items for our first morning. Chris is a great host. His guidebook and instructions are invaluable - I would highly recommend anyone to take the time to read them before arriving. He has taken a lot of time and effort into putting the information together and it makes life so much easier and certainly adds to the enjoyment of your stay.

The Coach house is a great place to stay if you want a beach or walking holiday however, a big plus for us was being able to use the garage for our car. The accomodation has everything needed for a relaxing stay, a comfortable bed, good kitchen and two smart TVs. We found it remarkably quiet at night. Most of the restaurants are around a mile walk away in Swanage but there's a pub and hotel nearby (the latter I believe serves non residents). Access to the beach on foot is quick down a couple of paths one (through the grounds of a hotel) down some steps, the other, down a steepish path: There are two beach bars at the bottom. Graham has an interesting quirky standard lamp with a nautical theme in the lounge.

Claire's apartment was lovely with beautiful views of the sea! All three of the bedrooms were huge with really comfy beds, our children loved the toy box and my daughter was particularly fond of a cushion with seagulls on it :) It was so great to have all the extras for staying with a baby and young children, including next-to-me cot, highchair, children's toilet seat and step and tableware. We loved the location, perfect for both a short walk to Alum Chine beach and a quick drive to Bournemouth Pier and the Aquarium. My daughter asked if we could come back every Father's Day! :D x

Sam's place was beautiful. My friends and I loved every moment at her place! The location and view is stunning, just a few minutes away from the beach and many other great spots. The apartment is so peaceful and spacious and the perfect place to wind down and relax. A perfect stay, we can't wait to visit again!
