Charming cottage with barn

Enjoy peace and quiet in a picturesque cottage in a South Bohemian village, located right on the bike path. There are a large number of forests in the area that lead to excursions.Chalupa has two gardens with outdoor seating, a sandpit for children, and where raspberries and blueberries grow. A big deal is a historic barn with seating for various celebrations. The cottage is decorated in a retro style with a nice kitchen, three bedrooms and a folding sofa in the living room for two more guests. The renowned Inn u Jiskr is 5 minutes away by car.

Chalet Simterka

Chata Šimterka has been completely renovated and modernized. There is a swimming pool right next to the cottage, and in the lower part of the complex there is a great Finnish sauna. The Otava River is about 100 m from the cottage. On the ground floor of the cottage, there is a fully equipped kitchen, a living area with a sofa bed (2 beds) and a bathroom with a toilet and a shower. On the first floor there is a bedroom with 4 beds (1 double bed, 2 single beds). The cottage has two beautiful terraces.

The kitchen, dining room and living room are connected; a French window leads to the garden from this space. The attic is accessed via the miller's stairs. In the attic, there are 2 bedrooms with 2 and 4 beds. The village is located on the river Lužnica (possibility of fishing), and there are the ruins of a castle and a Gothic church, near the town of Bechyně.

Our chats

Our cottage is located in a semi-secluded forest by the Stropnice River. Although it may not look like it at first glance, there are neighbors nearby, but they are not visible from the cottage. Enjoy sitting by the crackling fireplace with a book and a cup of tea or breakfast on the terrace. There is no wifi in the cottage, so enjoy the time spent together.
