Nestled on the south slope of the Pic du Canigou, Mas Lou Poun is an ancient stone Catalan farmhouse. The ancient Bergerie, is situated away from the main house and has been recently renovated to luxury specs. Fall asleep to the sound of the river and wake to gentle birdsongs in the forest and meadow. It is surrounded by 9 hectares (25 acres) of private forests, rivers, canyons and numerous walking routes. The Bergerie has access to a natural pool fed by continuously flowing spring water.

Located 5 km from the ancient abbey city of Arles-sur-Tech, on an unpaved track, we are ideally placed for hikers, mountain bikers and gravel or road cyclists. We are on the Pirinexus route and customers are welcome to use our onsite bike workshop if needed.

Children of the country, they will guide and advise you to make your stay as comfortable as possible. David, passionate, practicing and making French artisanal bicycles will advise you on multiple routes on foot or by bike from the cottage.
