Hello Alain- a wonderful holiday in Barcaras has come to an end. As you can see from the rating, everything was great. Marie welcomed us very nicely and looked after us. Thanks to Marie. Since everything was in order in your house, I was very happy to replace the cups so that everything is in order.:-)For us 2 with dog, the house was suitable. Unusual for us Germans, the small bed - but that is in the description. The interior is all top as described. The stairs are very steep, so you should be fit. The location - wow, just great. THE view of the sea and the tranquility. But it was also preseason and nothing was happening. Brioche our dog also gives a thumbs up and heart as a rating. Alain you have found and created a little paradise. Thank you so much for letting us stay with you.

We had a great time at this Airbnb. The apartment is super equipped, very clean and really pleasant to live in. I have never stayed in an Airbnb so well equipped, everything was thought of for our comfort. The hosts are welcoming, available and very caring, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Only small point to improve: it would be useful to specify in the listing that you should not put on sunscreen before swimming in the pool, to avoid any unpleasant surprises. In summary: an accommodation that I highly recommend!

My spouse and I spent a long weekend at Matthieu's place. The accommodation is very clean, good bedding, and well arranged for its size. Convenient for 2 people. Matthieu remains attentive to the needs of his visitors. I recommend this cozy little accommodation.

We had a great time at Frack's place. He was available, very responsive and gave good advice, especially to help me find a kite class — a real plus! The house is great: spacious, clean, well-equipped, with large bedrooms and everything you need for a family stay (bed and baby seat available). It is located on the edge of the scrubland, which gives a feeling of absolute calm, like lost in the middle of nature, while remaining close to the village. Leucate is a 10-15 minute walk away with good little restaurants and a great bakery. The wild part of the pond can be reached in 5 min by bike (or 10-15 walk) for beautiful waterfront walks. The sea is a 5-10 min drive, whether to Leucate Plage or La Franqui. I recommend 100% for a family holiday, in a beautiful environment! Thanks again Franck, we should be back!

Perfect stay for the 3 of us as well as our 3 dogs. Beautiful place to stay, I recommend it. Pierre-Emmanuel welcomed us very warmly. We loved spending a week in this beautiful house.

We were there with two families (teenage children) and had a very good time. Nice bedrooms, large TV and beautiful swimming pool. The kitchen was well equipped so we could cook well there. The house is in a very quiet suburb and you will need a car to go out and about. There is much to do in the area. We went to Collioure and Figueres and went for an afternoon of canyotels. Top vacation! Oh yes the communication with the owner Isabelle went very well.

We had a great week in Collioure. The house is somewhat up the mountainside from the city, and you have good opportunities to relax in and around the house. There are also good hiking opportunities up in the mountains. The house had many zones where you could relax and enjoy the sun and the view down towards the city. The air conditioning also helped keep the temperature in low even on hot days. Kitchen and bathroom were nice and practical. We often made dinner ourselves in the house. The host was also very helpful in making all the equipment, spices and other food available for us. The pool was often used for cooling on hot days. Otherwise it is just a short ride to the center of Collioure or Argeles-sur-Mer to enjoy the beach life and restaurants there. Uber and bolt were reluctant to drive up and one should be able to master some French language to connect with local taxi. Recommend having a car available. On the property there is a peacock, which can get something close. The hosts are very easy to deal with and help with everything.

Sophie and Hamed are very friendly hosts, we had a great welcome, even with small gifts (wines, sweets...) in short, nice touches. Sophie sent me many good deals nearby, she is very responsive, attentive, available. In addition, they gave us the opportunity to arrive earlier and leave later. The house is very clean and well-equipped, there is everything you need to cool off during this hot period (air conditioning and fans in each room) The pool and dining areas are great. We are 9 people very satisfied with this stay. We recommend these charming hosts and this accommodation which, moreover, is well located (quiet neighborhood and close to popular clubs and restaurants)

Beautiful house, perfect for families with kids. We were three families with three children each. Beautiful fenced pool. Lots of toys, football goal, slide, swing, etc. Large super furnished kitchen. Large living space and nice comfortable terrace. We felt very comfortable. Guillaume was very nice and easily accessible. Would definitely recommend

This well hidden gem was everything we (10 guests) hoped for, and a lot more. Perfectly located in the mountains surrounded by beautiful trees, flowers and birds. The infinity pool, a big kitchen and 2 houses with super nice individual rooms. Dear Vicky and Chris really made a huge effort to make us feel at home in their ‘out of this world’ surroundings. Our warmest recommendations.

We stayed for 2 weeks in Anais and Laurent's house, one word: exceptional! The house is brand new and modern (functional and tastefully decorated). It matches the photos perfectly. The pool is a real plus, being also very well appointed. Hosts are very kind and available (before and during the stay). Thank you so much, it was a pure relaxing time. We highly recommend it and hope to return for future holidays.

A great house! We have enjoyed comfort and surroundings. Swimming pool with good sun loungers, nice seating and space for our mountain bikes. We regularly used the gas BBQ/Grill plate and sat delicious dining at the large table outside. The kitchen was clean and equipped with every comfort, large American fridge with ice maker, good dishwasher, Nespresso machine and plenty of crockery and cutlery. The living room was spacious, cool due to the air conditioning and had a lovely sofa! The bedrooms were also clean, with air conditioning and plenty of closet space. Bathrooms also clean and tidy. 5 min away from the lake, where we cycled, ran or walked or a drink and a bite to eat at one of the nice restaurants. With the sporting activities, the washing machine with large drying grinder was very nice. Bakery and supermarket are 5 minutes away by bike, large Intermarche 10 minutes away (by car). Florence is a very pleasant host and also Alex, Sahra and Anna are very nice and likeable.

We went with friends to spend the end. Beautiful house!!! Very nice big and spacious. It has a large room with a fireplace and table for 12-14 people. In the kitchen there are two fridges, it is very well equipped and has everything needed for cooking. Each room has its own four bathrooms, they are large, with towels and robes. The space around the house is also very cozy. And the owner of the house is a very friendly and friendly person. It was a pleasure to be in his house. We recommend it for future guests.

By far the best Airbnb you can find in this area! Everything is exactly as in the photos and even better. The state of the house when we arrived was very clean and spotless. The house is beautifully situated in nature, you have a lot of peace and privacy. Nicolas also gave us a lovely free wine tasting and was always very helpful and kind. 100% recommend you visit, we will definitely come back. Thanks a lot for having us!

Pleasant house with very nice decoration! Very well located, we were able to discover the Vermeille coast and its surroundings with great hiking between mountain and sea! If you want to have a quiet and relaxing stay, I recommend you come to René's.

We felt right at home. The view is priceless and outstanding every day. It is an absolute peace up there and you can completely switch off. The pool was also an absolute highlight for our two children because it is also huge and deep enough to do "tricks" and gymnastics and of course jump in. The neighbor, who also takes care of the pool, is super reliable and always available for questions. The only thing we missed a little was the opportunity to stay outside in the shade in the morning. A stand for the small existing parasol would have been sufficient. Nevertheless, a top house in a top location, we are already thinking about when we will come back.

We had a fantastic holiday. The villa enjoys beautiful views to the rear, side and front, and the space within is roomy and well-appointed. Air con throughout was very helpful to cool rooms before sleep. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, and ate every meal outside on the shaded terrace. The concierge, Jonathan, went above and beyond - meeting us at the property to explain how the pool alarm works, answering queries promptly and being especially amenable and generous when we experienced car problems. The local area is lovely - we enjoyed trips to Eus, Villefranche and a slightly further-afield trip to Collioure on the coast (recommended). There is a very well-priced and delicious bakery within easy walking distance of the villa, and a large supermarket within an easy 10-15 minute drive. Our children enjoyed the (discreet) visits from The Pool Guy, who came to keep the pool in tip-top condition throughout our stay. He was friendly and kind to their inquisitiveness.

We had a great time with the family in this beautiful wooden house. It is very well equipped, clean and tastefully decorated. The spaces are spacious and pleasant, and the kitchen perfectly furnished. The garden and terrace are ideal for relaxing and enjoying the magnificent view of the Pic du Canigou. There are many activities and beautiful hikes nearby, as well as excellent restaurants like La Table des Amis. A peaceful and refreshing place, which really made us happy. Thanks to Richard for this moment, enhanced as soon as we arrived with delicate touches. We leave the place with regret, but with beautiful memories and the desire to come back very soon.
