Monthly Rentals in Quinta do Lago, Faro

Thank you Kayti and Sean for the use of your lovely house in Quinta do Lago! Our family, including three kids under nine, had an absolute ball. The house was perfect, with a great location and easy access to beaches, swimming pools, nature reserve, local restaurants, and commercial centers. It was also the perfect spot for quiet downtime and peaceful sleeping when the batteries finally ran down! We stayed the last week of April and were blessed with amazing weather for the whole week, and even some mini-adventures when the area was hit by region wide power-cut on our last full day - forcing us to enjoy the gas bbq in the garden one final time before we headed home. Kayti and Sean are fantastic hosts who provided a plethora of really useful info and guides (and all the paraphernalia needed for young kids in the house too!). Definitely recommend for an amazing break and hope to be back soon!! Dónal

Quarterfeira is easy to find from the Airport, I hired a car and drove, it took about 35 mins. It is a touriust destination for sure but I was there in late May and the season was not fully underway so it was pretty quiet on the beaches and always a table in the local restaurants. The apartment is situated right at the end of the main promenade by a square which has a great little restaurant/bar on it. Turn right out of the door and you can walk into town which is full of markets, bars and so on, but turning left takes you down to the other beach, which is much less built up, no deck chairs and stuff like that, more natural. I preferred that side to the sunbeds and parasols side, but either way you have the choice. Mornings are beautiful, it gets hot in the afternoon and the A/C was perfect for that. The kitchen was great and I made a few meals. Getting in and out of Quarterfeira by car is super easy and I did a bit of driving around which I really enjoyed. Definitely a great stay!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this villa, such a luxury feel - so many well thought through finishing touches that made the it feel extra special. Would 100% recommend this villa.
