Lake house holiday rentals in R L Harris Reservoir

This house had lots of space, plenty of bedrooms and hangout spots for our group of 3 families to enjoy. There are two tables for dinner / board games on main floor, and a big basement with ping pong and video game options. Everything was clean and tidy. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking. It is super conveniently located - only 1 mile to the marina we rented our boat from, and 3 miles from grocery / liquor / ice cream stores. There are lots of steps to the boat dock, so heads up for anyone with non-agile folks in their party. Also, and it is right next to a campground - but we didn’t notice people/noise/etc. Felt safe and quiet. The WiFi was spotty, our host tried to reset but it was never great service. That being said, we were able to use our cellular data easily so still had access to internet. We loved it, book this place, you won’t regret it.

Fun adventure cabin. Plenty of space. Host is extremely nice. Communication is easy. Recommend to anyone looking for a trip into the woods.

A gorgeous accommodation! We booked this lake house as a business retreat for our office employees. We needed a 2-day retreat to reflect on 2024 and plan for the new year. This was perfect with the layout of all the bedrooms, bathrooms, space for meeting, and an industrial kitchen to prepare all of our meals together. It was just the retreat we needed! The house was decorated nicely with a cozy and clean feel. Even though it was winter on the lake, the views were still beautiful!

We loved our weekend stay at Andy's! Everything was clean and well organized. We'll be back when it's warmer so we can use the boat!

Gloria’s place was perfect for our weekend getaway to do some hiking and off-roading in the area. Very clean, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, easy check in process. A note that there are a lot of stairs down to the dock if that’s an issue for anyone in your party but the view from the deck is beautiful as well! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable spot on the lake!

The Lovely Lady Gang had an amazing time at your home—it was so peaceful. Some of the ladies had never been on a girls' trip before, and this was the perfect place to introduce them to something new and exciting. The rooms and kitchen were fantastic. We did have a small hiccup, but Stephanie handled it swiftly and professionally. Despite that, our fun never stopped! This peaceful retreat is on a gorgeous setting directly on the lake with beautiful woods directly across the lake. The house is spacious and well equipped. The hosts and locals charming, friendly, and welcoming. My favorite part was the complementary use of SUP and kayaks! Thanks!

We had a great weekend at this beautiful Lake Wedowee home! The house was clean and well-stocked, and the host was very accommodating with our last-minute booking and late arrival. A representative met us and walked us through all the amenities. The basement had a fun bar area with ping pong and air hockey. The backyard had a gentle slope with a rock path down to the water, where we docked our boat for the weekend. The nearby boat launch was super convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the gas grill was a nice bonus. The hot tub was perfect after long days of fishing. The house is pet-friendly with a fenced area and deck gates to keep them safe while still enjoying the outdoors. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

A hidden gem. I only know about it because I lived there 40 years ago. It is small but big enough to stay comfortably. The hostess was a gem too. Warm, friendly and made everyone feel at home. I highly recommend and hope to go back again.

Beautiful home, lots of fun games and entertainment, awesome hot tub, very private, our dog loved the wrap around deck and the kitchen was nicely stocked with spices and seasonings. Definitely recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our mini vacation and the place was really peaceful. Our daughters enjoyed the kayaks. There was plenty of room for everyone. Will definitely book again.

Fabulous location. Little farther from civilization than we thought it was going to be, but it worked perfectly for our purposes: we did a good amount of cooking instead of going out to eat. Definitely look at this place.

Great Place! Kami was an excellent host. This property has charm and personality. Beds were super comfortable. Very close to boat ramp. Back deck was perfect for observing nature while you drank your morning coffee! Kitchen well stocked! Will definitely be back.

So many positives: 1. The fishing off the dock was wonderful especially at daylight or dusk. We caught enough crappie and catfish for a fish fry for the whole family. 2. So close to the marina! We rented a pontoon from Molly’s and enjoyed exploring the river. 3. Wake and Shake is a must for donuts, coffee, milkshakes, açaí bowls… 4. The house itself was huge and in great condition. No problems with the air conditioning, water temp or pressure. The only negative that I can think of is that the lights on the dock wouldn’t work (we finally got the string lights to work after messing with the wire) and the water itself was kinda dirty with limbs/debris but probably because of the heavy rain. I would definitely stay here again!!!

We had an awesome long weekend on the lake with the whole family. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We spent most of our time outside — the dock was perfect for relaxing, swimming, and launching the kayaks. The kids had a blast, and the calm water made it easy for everyone to enjoy. Great spot for family fun and unwinding. Would definitely come back!

Everything was as described. Place was clean and had plenty of room. Check in was easy, and well planned Unfortunately that area of the lake has little to no service, but that’s what getaways are for.

Great cabin!! Beautiful view of the lake. Very clean with everything we needed for a quick weekend trip. Great communication with the manager! Only negative was the long rough Dirt Road! Definitely will put my boat in the water first , instead of pulling to the cabin . Would definitely stay again!

We recently stayed at a lovely Airbnb in Wedowee, Alabama, during the Talladega race weekend. This was our first visit to the area, and we were thrilled to find a place that offered both proximity to the race and a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The house exceeded our expectations. The pictures online do not do justice to the beautiful landscaping and serene lake views. It was truly magnificent, secluded, and provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed; we just had to bring our clothes. The kitchen had all necessary utensils and appliances for cooking meals, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the excellent communication from our host, Jeff. He provided clear instructions that made check-in seamless. We loved the seclusion and comfort of the house so much that we wished we could have stayed longer.

We stayed here with close friends for my 40th birthday. It was nothing short of perfection. I’ve been eyeballing it for a few years to host retreats and after seeing in person, I’ll definitely be back. It was beautifully decorated, the lot was amazing, and it was absolutely relaxing. We never even turned on a tv. Our friends all had lovely things to say too. It left quite an impression on us all. Also, the bedding/pillows were very comfortable, and shower toiletries were provided which was a bonus!

We had a phenomenal stay celebrating our daughter’s graduation from Auburn at Crescent Place. The house is HUGE, tons of stuff to do and we enjoyed all of it. Super peaceful location right on the lake. We especially enjoyed fishing, playing games at the massive table, and s’mores at the fire pit. We stayed with a large group and never felt cramped at all. Plenty of personal space and plenty of group space. Kelly was a fantastic host, she was very responsive and such a pleasure to work with. She really goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it can possibly be. Kitchen and grill area is of ample size to cook for large groups, to include 2 full size refrigerators to store all the necessary items. We would 100% love to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone, especially larger groups who want a peaceful stay with plenty of space to entertain. 5+ Stars for location and host.
